i was reading Sunday's news abt the new bike trails in ubin when i came across the topic of FLASH MOBS.
Being the curious cat that i am, i went on a search on Youtube.
And to my surprise it has quite a following in the States and worldwide!

and everyone knows what a famous location tt train station is and how busy it can get.

I know that thru reading Sunday Plus, our Mission: Singapore exists and they are planning a freeze in VivoCity but Vivo management has kept declining to take part.
I do hope it happens and i wanna take part in it!!

I remembered a story when i was still in poly that a bunch of Business Course classmates got dared to stand up and eat. So at lunch time, in our NYP fast food canteen where our McD outlet is located, the whole class sitting in one of those longer/larger tables; stood up and ate their BigMac and Chicken McSpicy. Just to prove a point to their fellow coursemates.. And probably to bask in all the attention ppl were giving them~
Gila eh?

But i just heard the story and wasnt there to witness the dare.

work has been going on just great.
am so glad to get back to the same ward i was in for prcp.
the same old friendly staff
treating sick people
basically i just love my job!

for now i say this cuz i havent really started work as a staff nurse
am still kinda in my induction programme
so i dont think we'll be in charge for a while
and next week we're gonna learn how to poke needles in people!
no la its called venepuncture and cannulation
yeeeehaaa!~

am kinda nervous.
but tt's the challenge in this line of work
bring it on baby!

lately i've been watching loads of korean movies and starting to watch some dramas.
but dramas really need a whole lot of patience.
I've finished Princess Hours which is really awesome. The actors and actresses are gorgeous and they all have this chemistry tt's hard to describe. Near the end, when all the bad things started to happen, i could really feel my heart beat pulse like crazy. I even ended up wondering why it was so. Why i got all so caught up in all this business..

Since a long time ago i've liked watching korean/ japanese movies. The more tear-jerking the better. Or a comedy like the one Rain acted in (I'm A Cyborg But I'm Okay). But i never really paid attention to it.
Then there was this Korean madness starting in teenage girls. I think it started like middle of last year? I didnt think i would get affected.
But hanging out with Korean-crazy friends can do wonders i tell you.

i personally feel xiah is the best singer in TVXQ and here u can see him showing off his talent..
Rain's original video had him dressed all stylish and dancing beside this damn cool car in the pouring rain..

Life was never the same again.
When surfing Youtube, i kinda always end up searching for new MVs by TVXQ or my favourite Super Junior! Heh.. these guys always make me smile. Like really! Whenever i feel down and need a perk-me-up, i'll listen to their songs or watch their shows online.
And lately,
I've started adding more and more Korean songs into my mp3 (tho it already is so goddamn full. no more space la seh.. GAHH! buy me a 16 GB mp3 and i'll love you FOREVER! ;p) and deleting more English songs in the process. And nowadays i tend to scroll to listen to those songs more than the normal bunch of Eng songs.
Its like i dont get the same high listening to Eng songs than when i'm listening to Kor or Jap.
I used to not understand these people..

but now i guess i might be turning into one of them.
but not tt hardcore la.
LOL

Then there's this song by this all girl band Wonder Girls- Tell Me
The dance is so so cute and fun to do tt many people have tried to make their own dance with it, from traffic police officers to high school children. Really impressive shyte!

Here is a super cutesy cuddly toddler of just 3 years. I'm sure you have heard of him Hero Ha YoungWoong, the Korean child prodigy who can sing over 40 Beatles songs and old classic English songs when he is not even taught of one English word. He learns by listening to old Beatles records. Super cute.

Recently met up with Prim to catch Peepshow's Ep launch. Everything was set up nicely. I loved the colored shirt arrangement they had. Cool idea. Three members at the foreground wearing black (Mik -rhythm guitar, Zaki - vox, SK - lead guitar) and the other three members in white (Yuk - keyboards, Edmund - drums, Sam - bass).
The energy in which they played was great. They also performed two covers, Hero by Foo Fighters and Anna Molly by Incubus.
Phoarr we went crazy la seh when Zaki announced that they were gonna perform Anna Molly!
LOL.

but the need for constant waking up pre dawn always leaves me exhausted by the time the day is done

and the constant learning from mistakes

i'll miss the good old school days
when we have nothing but lectures, tutorials and practical lessons all day
but to spend these moments with loving friends
searching for codenames at their favourite haunts
eating, rotting, basking in the whole poly ambience
the old Food Junction with the friendly uncle's handmade noodles
the library Cafe Galilee with the juicy hotdogs
memories of old jokes shared among peers
dancing, enjoying myself to the fullest at school events..
i'll so miss those times.

tt is why i plan to get back to the books again.
whether getting an advanced diploma or a degree
or both
i am not sure yet
whether local unis or abroad
tt too i am uncertain.
but one thing is sure;
i'll miss school!
