Showcase was organised by Sony Music at Suntec Convention Hall 603. The line was managable. The fans were well behaved. No one got screamed at by the bodyguards. Everyone followed instructions. This is like the best and most organized danmeet anyone cld ask for! For one, i LOVE the airconditioned venue which is far away from the eyes of curious public. Best of all, me and my group got to stand RIGHT in front of the barricade! this is thanks to Risz who came at like 630AM to queue ((: We got to stand right in the middle somemore!
and and and i had looooooooads of Dongjun like eye to eye contact.
and that one time Heecheol teased all of us by licking his fingers with tt piece of cake. I screamed like mad whilst staring into his eyes and he with his cheeky smile ((: was wayy too mesmerized to videocam. I hope someone managed to video cam tt scene!
oh how you tease us heecheol!

so i bought the Cat One seats which meant we got signatures of all nine members!
Before going upstage, Risz, Fid, Adrienne and me made a pact to dance to a little bit of Mazeltov by doing the Mazeltov hand sign and singing. In the end we did it!
Order in which the boys were seated:
Kevin, Junyoung, Taehun, Hyungsik, Heecheol, Dongjun, Siwan, Kwanghee & Minwoo.
I was standing in front of Kevin when we sang: Mazeltov.. Himnaebwa. Mazeltov.. Useobwa~ Kevin didnt smile but Moon was like Oh! and he did the hand motions like us too ((:
Was really embarrasing but we stood out! HAHA
As my ZEA biases were DJ, Kevin & Minwoo, i HAD to shake hands with Kevin!
So after we danced i said thank you to Kevin and told him he had a great voice. I held out my hand to shake his and he did! His hands were smooth!
In front of Moon i cldnt do much but stare at his cute face! Said manaseo pangapseumnida and just smiled at him~
Taehun i didnt do much at all cuz i didnt have a thing for him. Hyunsik omgg was damn damn good looking! I swear he was born an ULLZHANG! and so tall too! I wanted to say Prince Hyungsik!! to him but nothing came up. i think most prolly i was waiting to talk to Dongjun!!!

Heecheol next! I love love love this crazy boy. When i stood in front of him i said: HEECHEOL AH! MOSHIDA!! (Translation: So cool!) Boy was so happy he beamed~~ HAHA i shld have shaked his hands too but i was happy with what i wanted to tell him so i skipped right on over to my baby boy DJ!

ohmygod. he is like so damn cute i tell you! haha even from a distance he glowed! So when i stood in front i practically screamed out his name and smiled so damn wide. He saw how happy and excited i was! I cld tell from his expression! HEHE I spoke to him. I said: DONGJUN AHHHH! Nomu nomu sarang... chuah haeyeo!! LOL i wanted to say chuah haeyeo in the first place but sarang came out so i changed last minute and it ended up like i was stuttering. But MY BABY BOY WENT: OH REALLY? (THE 'L' DAMN KARAT LA SEHHHH!!) I totally went: YAHHHH!!!! and nodded like a crayy crayy crazyy girl! HAHA
DongJun smiled wide and said thank you! I could tell that he knew i really liked him! HAHH I put out my hand to shake his and he was shocked but i didnt wanna give so in the end he just gave me three fingers! i think it was cuz he was holding onto his marker! His fingers were so smooth~~
By tt time i was already being pushed to stand in front of Siwan but DJ was turning to me and smiling. OMG boy i swear i love you! <3 <3

I thanked Siwan for coming to SG and told him to come back again. I think he said Thank You. Didnt really concentrated cuz my dongsaeng in front of me was dancing Abracadabra to Kwanghee and he was laughing so happily and mimicking her! HAHA I think i didnt speak much to KH. But i loved his English when he spoke during the show! Geero Geero! (Zero Zero~)
Kwanghee was also seem staring at my right hand. At first I thot he was staring at my bracelets but i think he was looking for presents and fanletters! HAHA CUTE.

Last but not least was adorable maknae Minwoo. He's my 3rd bias! I felt like telling him something but my mind was totally blank so i just thanked him and went down. In the end i kinda regretted it cuz i cld have wished him a belated bdae! hehe. Wanted to shake his hands too but he was like so busy with his signing~~ aww.

when i went down to spazz with my friends it seemed tt DJ shook hands with them with 3 fingers too! HAHA too cute! the next segment was handshake with Cat 2 fans. I purposely zoomed onto DJ and his handshake... boy shook hands like normal! HAHA so it MUST be the marker! LOL.
i love my DJ interactions. Apparently, according to my dongsaeng, DJ looked a lot into my fancams! i didnt even notice~~ too busy camming XD XD

i am sorry dear blog cuz i have been ignoring you for so long~ but i am back! and with tons of stories and fanaccounts to share!

i'll start with the most recent one! meeting 2am for showcase and fansign ((:
i was really lucky to be one out of five of my other friends to get the ticket. And that was right after the conversation i had with Atiqa on letting what is meant to happen, happen to someone. Because fate is beautiful like that! And being a person happy with simple pleasure i was estatic to know that i have the chance to meet 2am face to face! I also made a new kpop friend and she's a Philipino! I guess its fated for us to randomly meet today and be friends! Nice to meet you BIANCA!~

So on with the show~ 2AM was daebak as expected singing their songs live. the mics proved to be a little bit of a problem but not too much. And then it was time for the fanmeet! As per usual we went up the stage on the right. First was Seulong, Changmin, Jo Kwon & Jinwoon. When still lining up i could see that Seulong was smiling from ear to ear and saying a big HI! to everyone who came in front of him. AWW his smile was so genuine ((: I LOVE SMILEY PEOPLE!

I stood in front of Seulong and automatically said Annyeong hasaeyeo and gave him a big smile. He replied back with an annyeong hasaeyeo, smiled at me and turned down to sign the album. While he was singing his cute huge ass signature I spoke again and said 'Manaseo pangaseumnida!' AND HE REPLIED BACK!
Nehh manaseo pangaseumnida~~ and he smiled again (i was HIGHHH!)

i scooted over to Changmin. He looked like he was having a hard time and he had like three albums with him and he was trying to sign as fast as he could. But when he heard my conversation with Seulong he glanced up at me and i just stare in his eyes. I swear it was a light brown kinda like cat's eyes but it was smaller. HEHE. I was shocked and could only stutter an 'Annyeohasaeyeo'. Changmin nodded and smiled.

As Changmin was taking quite long with the signatures, one of the security guards pulled me to stand in front of Jo Kwon. I was considered quite lucky as the fans in front of me were too starstruck to talk to any of them. HAHAH so more chances for me to speak up and interact. I kind of took over the place of the fan in front of me and totally went 'JO KWON!! Please come back to Singapore!!!' Kwonnie with his slim beautiful face and awesome orangeybrown hair looked up at me. He was concentrating on signing the album that i think it took quite some time for him to register what i said (he had a confused faraway expression) but when it suddenly dawned on him he went, 'Oh! Thank you!' and smile his famous diva smile ((:

I was considerably calm for all three of them but when I stood in front of the baby, the maknae, the ohsocute Jung Jinwoon... i just froze. Before, while sitting down waiting in the sun, whilst standing up waiting in line, i wanted to call Jinwoon 'chagiya!!' and maybe say ROCK ON whilst doing the rock on hand sign but when it came down to standing in front of the tall, charming, orange haired ball of cuteness... i just went, JINWOON AHHH! (i literally screamed his name so happily!!) I wasnt able to say anything else so i waved so enthusiastically in his face!! HAHAHA
i was smiling from ear to ear when i said his name and waving like a mad woman. Jinwoon smiled his MEGAWATT smile and handing my album to me with both arms out. I bowed a bit, said thank you and wobbled down the stairs. My hands were trembling! And here i thot i had fanmeetings and fansigns figured out! Seeing Jinwoon face to face and seeing his smile made me tremble.

okay i have been smiling thruout the day like a pabo! minutes ago we've watched and spazzed over SJ's comeback stage. pure awesomeness i tell ya~ cant wait for them to conquer the awards ((:

main reason im here is to share my newest BEAST dream!! like my past dreams i usually get spazzy and watch videos of the characters before i fall asleep.
Last night i slept at like 230AM when i was supposed to wake up at 630AM for work. So i had like 3 hours 40 mins plus of precious sleep left when i finally managed to doze off. Was watching the Adieu Stage for BEAST at MNet Countdown. As usual, i spazzed a whole lot on my beastly babies.

Setting for the first scene was in some kind of classroom. I was shocked to see a blond haired short boy walking around in class. It was Seobie!! I was like jumping in joy but was hesitant to approach him to tell him how much i like then~~ then there was this unnie friend of mine who was standing beside me. She suddenly came up to him and screamed YOSEOB SARANGHAEYEO!!!! ..and she sat down. LOL Seobie was like @.@ but didnt comment. Even i was shocked!
i was seated directly in front of him with my unnie fren beside me smiling happily. Seobie looked a bit uneasy by himself. I couldnt really rmbr if there were others in the room (but who the hell cares ey, this is Yang Yoseob in front of me!!)
So i casually turned behind in my seat and started to strike a perfectly normal conversation with him. He smiled a lot and spoke perfect english (which i suspect he is very good at IRL). I was happy cuz i wasnt in hyper fangirling mode and screaming at everything he said. LOLLLL

best part was when he casually mentioned that they were gonna come back to Singapore on 31st JULY!! This was the part when i spazzed openly! AHAHA I still remember tt cute smile on his face when he talked :D *faints*

when i felt tt he was more at ease, i decided to ask him for a photo together! there were many other fangirls present but i somehow managed to get a pic with him (: then i stashed tt camera somewhere in the room.

after a fulfilling conversation with the visual maknae and tt prized photo in my camera, i went out of the classroom to find something (either food or the other members). Imagine my friggin shock when i saw JunHyung and DooJoon at one corner of the room reading something. I ran over to YongYong and said tht Yoseob was waiting for them in the next room! Jun and DJ both had like a confused face on. (maybe cuz in my mind i knew they weren't tt proficient in English- WE ARE HAPPINESS! AHAHA).. So i kinda tugged on Jun's sleeves (he was wearing his red and black striped performance jacket!! HAHA) or was it his arms and led them to Seobie. I didnt manage to talk to DJ personally tho.

Then the scene changed to be the classroom again. Dongwoon appeared! It was at the back of the classroom unlike the Seobie part where it was at the front of the class. Dongwoon smiled a lot too and he was really tall! i started looking for my camera to take pics with him but it was missing. i rmbr cursing to myself for losing such a precious photo (ohnoesplzdunletthisbeaSIGN!) Suddenly DW turned to leave the room when his hyungs were all leaving.I managed to call his name and he turned back.
'You can speak really good english!', i said.
'Yes i can!' he replied with a wide grin on his face.

i swear i could have just pat him on his head and say 'GOOD JOB!!'

on a side note i have no idea why i didnt dream of my beast bias gikwang instead. but im really happy with my beast dream within tt short 3 hrs 40 mins!
i kept waking up ard 6am tho cuz i was scared of being late for work! XP
and weirdest part was tt i had dongho's name like repeated so many times in my head the moment i woke up. news of ukiss fanmeet really got me essited!
AND THAT RUMOR OF BEAST IN SUNDOWN. PLEASE LET IT BE TRUE YO!

which brings up the topic of me being pissed off at the malaysian ELFs during SS2.
im the kind of person who shows her disagreement and unhappiness VERY OPENLY but will never come right out and say it (does Dongho do that? cuz he's my type B hero like that.. HAHA)~ Imagine, we were like number 15 in line. We lined up for the RockPit A line from 7am. When we reached Bukit Jalil Stadium we were shocked but pleasantly surprised to see such a short line at 7am for a 7pm korean concert. Singapore fans are very different from Msia fans in terms of lining up i guess.. So we wait for practically half a day in the hot scorching sun. Many times we had to direct ppl to the back, ppl who tried to squeeze into the front of the line. We succeeded many times and happily waited till around 3-4pm there was this group of around 9 girls (average age: 18?) They friggin just sat beside us. The line was actually like one lonnng snake but when the girls sat beside us it looked damn obvious cuz the snake looked FAT at the front. We spoke nicely to them saying tt the line was at the back. They just gave a stupid look and kept saying that the ppl in FRONT of us didnt line up right (cuz they sat in a line that was abit crooked). Fazy tried to tell them many times in a calm tone to go to where they were supposed to go but it seemed that they ignored her too. I couldnt take it any longer and i blew up and screamed at them that it wasnt fair that we had to line up since 7am while they just came at 4pm and sat beside us. They STILL didnt budge. By that time i was FUMING MAD. I refused to talk to anybody and just sat listening to my mp4.
Im those kind of ppl who cant shout at ppl cuz the next moment i will cry. i usually hide my anger and resentment in my heart till i cant take it anymore and tell tt person off.. (yes this kind of ppl exist!) but somehow being in that heat and with the restlessness piling up.. i just blew up.
I screamed at them two more times. now with more hatred and just plain anger. I think i might have used the F word a couple of times. But what i hated most was that no one behind us fought for their places. oh well i tried.
ppl were pushing so much till a few girls fainted. we pushed those blardy liars as much as we cld but they still managed to get in at the same time as us. Oh and after that, the long snaky line behind practically collapsed. just cuz of these 9 liars. there was no justice to those who lined up early. lots of things happened in line while in wait for suju. which involved TONS of snarky remarks by me. Gosh i swear i have NEVER been so angry in my life. I had talk with fazy in the hotel after breakfast. I told her that i was really scared for my life cuz after screaming at the 9 of them i remember thinking what if they came up to me during the concert and try to hurt me! gosh.

oh wells. i strongly believe in KARMA.
i know for a fact that KARMA BITES BACK.
and i hope she does.
i hope she bites you guys TEN-FOLD!

i just had a kpop dream after so long! the last i had was the days leading to SS2! ahh and the one i had of 2pm on the night after SS2. That dream was kinda short but i was happy baby woo was inside it! haha. Cuz SS2 was all about stalking and taking tons of fancams of SuperJunior; i guess my 2pm love/conscience was a bit jealous and the boys started to appear in my dream! HAHA. All i know was that i was super shagged post SS2 cuz of all the pushing and fighting~ will elaborate more later in the post. The short 2pm dream just consisted of the boys being like 2-3metres away and us fangirls were busy taking fancams of them instead! Weird part was that i dont remember that much screaming..
maybe cuz i know what makes a good fancam/ fanvideo is that you (videographer) has to keep quiet and not be able to scream and spazz till the whole thing is over. I guess that is one of the big cons of being a videographer. You have to keep your excitement level low and stay calm cuz getting excited means a shaky video. But the best advantage is having an awesome video to relive the memory by!

back to the 2ne1 dream! HAHA
the events tt lead to the dream kinda have importance to it so im gonna share what i did~
i was home from having my second last theory paper (HOORAY!) at 2pm today. I had already eaten at school and felt like chilling on my lappy before going to take a nap in the aftnn to be able to mugg at night. Nowadays im watching this american drama called GLEE. Its awesome! The next High School Musical i tell you! haha
so to cut things short, there was this one asian dude in it who was actually a dancer in Step Up and i did some wikipedia research on him.. blablabla. which led to youtubing some videos and i came upon this one Philipines StarStruck Show (kinda like American Idol). The video was of the male and female contestants covering KOREAN POP in ENGLISH! ultimate horror i tell you!!

I admit that i have this bad habit of napping in the evening. this pisses my mum off a lot cuz from what she said the evening time is the best time the devils will enter ur body. i mean its like a wives' tale- its scary and all but my body just wont be able to stay awake past 12mn if i dont nap. And i blame this habit to working morning shifts! HAHA i get so sleepy from work tt i will nap straight after coming back from work..
so anyways TIP 1: most of my kpop dreams happen during my evening naps.
TIP 2: you have to watch something tt is related to the person u wanna dream abt!
(i posted my Beast- AJ and Junhyung dream here before.. i watched AJ's Wipe the Tears like 7 times (all different performances mind you! haha) the aftnn i dreamt of them :D)

So i guess tt short dance/ cover of I Dont Care made me dream abt the girls!
I was seated in the front row of an auditorium. There were many fans watching and supporting the 2NE1 girls who were performing. They looked so radiant and happy performing :D
then the scene was cut to the part where the girls have ended their performance. they were seated on the stage discussing something. The stage was one of those small, low lecture theatre type of stages so i was able to come up to them personally. There wasnt many other fans left as the rest were filing out of the theatre. I fumbled in my bag for the concert tickets and handed it straight to Minzy (MY BIAS!!) to sign~ She was signing it halfway when the marker went out of ink.. She went off try to get a new one but i was like 'wait! i think i have one in my bag!' (PS: i really DO carry permanent markers in my makeup bag for such reasons! :P) so i handed it to Bom who reached out her hand and took it with a smile and proceeded on to sign on it.
I took the concert ticket and looked at Minzy's cute signature tt was in fading ink cuz of the dry marking. (i dunno how her real signature looks like btw! haha) Then i figured she had already finished signing it cuz the signature looked kinda complete. Bom's signature looked cute too! Somehow when i passed the ticket to Sandara who was nearest to me, it turned into an autograph book! Sandara wrote a really LONG message for me.. it was so friggin farnie it doesnt make sense at ALL! haha
After she signed it i took it from her and laughed aloud when reading it. The longest message reads something along the lines of Ryfflesoptometrist is Parkinsonianism!! (LOL! WTH is right! i can explain why these words came out. Cuz i had stopped by Ryffles shop in AMK Hub to get new contacts before i got home. And the parkinsonianism is cuz of one comment my geron classmate wrote to another friend's wall.. so random! very -..-") i did a double take reading it and looked at Sandara and the book simultaeneously. She just laughed a cute but awkward laugh. I laughed too hearing it (and remember thinking, this is the crazy weird girl who posts random stuff on her me2day.. what can i expect! haha). After tt i reached out to CL and passed her my autograph book. I dunno why i didnt have much interaction with CL and Bom TT.TT I didnt really see CL's face in my dream.. more of like, oh the girl beside Sandara is CL! I'll just pass the book to her to make it complete! (gosh im sorry CL! im a big fan of urs too! CL is my second fave!)

After CL signed it i took both the ticket (which miraculously reappeared!) and the autograph book in both hands. I remember thinking, oh wldnt it be better if ALL of them signed on my ticket instead! (HAHA Greed is a human trait! bear with me now fellow beings~) okay this is when the weird part starts..
i turned back to the girls and one of them was replaced with this one chubby average looking girl. It seemed that she was replacing one of the members (either CL and Bom). From the dream it looks like i was quite close to the new girl and tt she was supposed to pass me some promotional merchandise of the girls that she promised me weeks ago. So i was talking to her and planning on how to avoid clashing with other fan girls at the hotel and stuff. I suggested meeting at their hotel and asked for the hotel they were staying at. Suddenly she went, oh sorry! i have an interview with this one 13 membered group later in the afternoon!' I asked her what 13 member group?
she replied, 'oh 2pm and 2am!' I just went 'Oh i seee... Darn. Then when to meet? Hmmmmm~' at that time i didnt occur to me that even 7 + 4 does not equal to 13! HAHA

From here u can see that i am indeed loyal to my Suju and OneDay love! XD
i was still happily talking to this girl when suddenly my secondary school friend came up to me and sat on the stage. there was a grp of them there earlier for the concert but they had left when i was asking for autographs. so when she suddenly came up to me i was shocked but i was still engrossed in my conversation. Suddenly one of her friends started to flare up and scream 'Come on! how much longer do i have to wait?! I want to go home!'
I shocked even myself when without thinking twice i went up to her and screamed back, 'I dont remember asking you guys to wait for me!' while giving her the WTF are you doing here look. And that girl squirmed in her seat and backed down.. Everyone else was shocked but i was just... angry.
I woke up to the sound of my mum nagging at me saying that its 8pm and i need to wake up.
so yeah! that was my 2ne1 dream! ending was a bit ..off. I blame that on my mum and dad nagging at me before i took my nap at 5pm.

on the 25th when news broke out that the decision was final, tears ran down my cheeks. but they said that there'll be an all important conference to answer all the qns we have on the 27th. i told my quivering heart that there is still hope. maybe the hottests present cld help them see the light, the love, the support we all offer.

yesterday (26th feb) at cwp ..
logged on to twitter cuz my itchy heart was yearning for news, almost cried into my plate of food. pushed back my tears so that i wont be embarrased in front of the happy families and grps of frens eating out in banquet. but i remained sorrowful and morose the whole time. on the bus back home from woodlands i let my mp4 play continuously. the battery was in the red zone and was dying real soon. i kept thinking in my head: what if it died exactly on a 2pm song? what song will it be? will my mp4 really know my heart?
(cuz it happened before that it played what my heart wanted to hear when its actually on shuffle mode.. and by shuffle mode i meant all 2259 songs including english songs!-- rmbr when it played barae as i ran to catch FTI post Seould Out concert send-off?)

tears was coming down slowly as i thought back of the times jay tricked taec on his hidden camera ep in WB. how close he was with them. how much woo cried for him.
suddenly an all too familiar tune came on..
and i cried even more as wooyoung started the verse.
it was Only You.
then i thot back abt tt Win Win episode how woo explained abt the hardships they faced during debut period (for Only You promos).. oh gosh. what a song to choose ey dear mp4?
to think tt after i heard the heartbreaking news on 25th i actually skipped all the 2pm songs tt started playing? (cuz it was too painful to listen)..

conference with big shots and 2pm members are done.

attitudes and faces are revealed for the first time.
news from 2od rep making us confused cuz it was w/o clarification d/t hurried texting.

till now it is revealed..

it is officially 2010. And its post number 214.
Thank you dear readers for staying with me all these while. I really appreciate your visit into the realm where i spazz my excitement, vent my anger and teenage(!!) angst and maybe shed a few tears. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart :D

2010. Another year. A whole new lease of life. But why does it feel so .. mundane? I seriously dont feel the difference. Nowadays im happier in school compared being all vulnerable to mistakes and the laser eyes of the big sisters at work. But i guess sometimes i just get too worked up with projects and exams. And my classmates.. Gosh i dont feel close to them at all! I dont know how the batch before me (my cuzzin and bro's gf's batch) are like inseparable. And i hate it tt my lecturer compares me to my cuzzin who's apparently very vocal and friendly.. I hate being compared. Its like i have something to compete with. Seems like teenage school days all over again. Geez.

Im not gonna make new yrs resolutions but i just wish for good grades for studies. So i can move ahead and hopefully go to a good ward with good colleagues who dun stab your backs or talk bad abt you. I sincerely miss my uncle and auntie patients! Well minus the anxious (sometimes irritating) family members. I miss the fun times we have joking with the uncles and aunties behind the curtains while we help them with their activities of daily living like sponging, tube feeding, even changing of diapers. I miss playing ard with my old demented elderlys.. Or how we used to pass over funny stories of what happened during our shifts. Or gossip abt those family's kids! Haha. I miss the cute doctors on call. Some are real nice and down to earth ppl whilst some are just downright nasty. We'll always compare which ho we like and complain how much we miss this doctor and hate that one. Hahaha. But i guess it'll be back to the wards for many years to come :D .. After im done with studies!

Tt was totally random! Didnt plan on talking abt ward life! But it was nice talking it out~

My trusty cybershot cam has been with me for goddamn how many years i dunno.. Maybe 3 years? Bought it prolly cuz i was gonna go london. Now it has seen so many things and i love it so for capturing such beautiful memories on film! London and korea trip! :D it worked extra awesome as fancams for concerts and stalking of stars especially. I love you camera! Haha
but sadly now, its being all sensitive and a lil bit haywire with the controls. Lately i discovered the sound for when i press the controls was gone.. (i find tt sound really loud and annoying actually but now tt its gone, i find it nervewrecking) well mostly cuz i think i wont be long till i'll have to say goodbye and thank it for its services. Gosh.

Another trusty companion tt i bring with me everywhere is my mp4! So far so good :D
no hanging, no weird sounds, no spoilt buttons. I hope it lasts till next yr!

Well im talking abt gadgets cuz i'll need to plan what i need to get next!
Maybe a semi pro camera if my cybershot dies first.
And then an ipod touch cuz ive always wanted one of those. But hopefully my mp4 can last till 2011!

I just had my first b2st dream like 10 minutes ago. It’s still vivid in my mind and i so had to blog this down :)

Today I went back to school to do one of my assignments and brought along Song my lappy. On the way back home for some reason i started playing all of my AJ Wipe the Tears performances. Saw his smile and his cute hand dance for the chorus part. Always made me wanna join along! Not to mention seeing Doojoon & Junhyung in it and dancing as well. So since 530pm, that song was stuck in my head.

When I reached home, my persistent headache since yesterday was getting worse so i popped a paracetamol and decided to sneak off to bed (mum wasnt aware hehe). Here's when the awesome dream started..

The start of the dream was a bit vague. A lot of running around was involved. Not for fangirling but for .. desserts? HAHA. The setting was in some kind of hotel convention room. Not many people were around and there was this big silver glittery stage in one of the corners of the room. The spotlight was on the stage but then one waitress came up to us (me and a guy whom i can’t recall) and apologized and said that that was all the dessert that was left. I came up to the table and saw two big bowls of vegetable soup. It looked kinda disgusting but before my mind could register anything else I saw Fazlyna and Atiqa running out of their hotel rooms carrying empty plates. I ran up to Atiqa and asked her for a taste of her dish and she handed me an empty plate with a tiny portion of pasta. I looked at it once and quickly gobbled it down and stuffed the plate into a bin in the wall panel. Suddenly an all too familiar song started to play..

It was AJ’s Wipe The Tears. I screamed and started running towards the crowd that had formed in front of the stage. They were actually standing quite far away but I stood alongside them as the view was quite good/ wasn’t restricted. The song was ending so i started to sing along and try to dance to it. AJ looked into the audience and I danced and jumped and sang as hard as I could to give support. I was even able to witness Doojoon & Junhyung rapping!

When AJ’s performance ended, I was the only one who was still very hyper. The boys were gathering around, resting on some red chairs in front of the stage. I could clearly see Junhyung in a lime green beanie sharing a seat with blondie YoSeob. AJ and DooJoon were talking and standing. Around them were some dancers and unknown faces. But I wasn’t interested in them! Haha.

Well like any fangirl I started screaming all their names out loud. My voice was all scratchy and stuff but i still proceeded on screaming! I didn’t know that my sickness was even present in my dreams! Lol wthh. I remember screaming for Yoseob and Jun and they both turned and smiled. Weirdly enough no one else was screaming. But all the more attention to me then!
The best part comes later...

All the boys had left the room and only JunHyung in his white tee and lime green beanie was left behind. He was sitting comfortably in the red chair reading some kind of fan letter. You know the ones A3- A4 sized made by scrapbookers? He was flipped through those, quite intently reading the details and messages. I inched my way closer without saying a word. Looked at the names of the fans and saw that all of them were malay girls! One glance I even saw my name there and I gave it a second look and gave a confused face!! (haha i dunno why this is so random. Malay fangirls laa!)

I was quietly looking around, standing quite near to JunHyung. I wanted to speak to him but didn’t know what to say. JunHyung has this bad boy image that i admire but i always find myself thinking.. If i meet him in real life, will i ever have the guts to speak to him? But the more i read about him and see pictures of them goofing off, i know that he’s softhearted too! A very hip-hop guy.. And ohsogoodlooking!! :D
I spotted this circular black cardstock of a letter white letter S with four of those tiny bells in baby blue and pink on the floor. It was there for quite some time but i was afraid to make a move. In the end I bent down to pick it up. JunHyung suddenly straightened up in his seat and started counting the fancards one by one from the one furtherest away from him. ‘One, two, three, four, five.. Hmm yeah I think that’s the one that it came out from.’ That was when I took the chance to speak up.

I asked him what the cards were for. He told me that they were fan-letters and that he liked reading them. Then he started flipping the pages and showing me the different details and designs the fans have made. I was like ‘oh wow it really is nice!’ and he said ‘yeah i know, good right? I just wanted to show you how they made it’, and he grinned happily to himself. All of this was spoken in English. So i turned to him to ask another question as to how come he can speak English so well.. But then i became too conscious of my surroundings and woke up. I didn’t bother trying to revive the dream cuz i know too darn well that it can’t come back so i went online and started blogging this! HEHE

Ahh my JunHyung dream is very precious indeed. Makes me feel even more motivated to write fanletters to my favourite rookie group! One day i will show you my scrapbooking skills JunHyung! And you better speak to me in English! HAHAH
Truthfully I haven’t read anywhere which states that Jun is proficient in English. That short AJ, DooJoon & Yoseob parts in my dream made me darn happy too. Too bad HyunSeung and Dongwoon were nowhere in sight. And come to think of it, the screaming and fangirling part was all too real!!

I will strive to hunt you down and scream your names out loud for real my beastly babies! wahaha

seoul'd out 09 was fun!! I love watching tmax with hyperbunny leader minchul and cutiepies yoonhwa and kimjoon! Beg were also very 'fan-oriented' cuz they knew how to make the fans happy. In other words both groups shower us with loads of fan service! Hehe

dearest fti made my heart sink cuz i thot they were really enjoying their performance. No matter how many times i screamed seunghyun's name, he wld just stare spacelessly into the crowd and not smile. Tt was why my heart started getting all restless. Then i watched tt yt video on the fangirl who disrespected seunghyunnie's space. Tears started streaming again. I cant help feeling tt it was our fault. The sg fans who made him mad. Well i know some might disagree saying tt all of us are not like that. But still, one stupid girl's mistake might change our beloved's perception of the country. Tt is why i like having cute, jovial, happygolucky fans/ friends like yanti and her cute-as-hell story abt hongki speaking english to her. I hope and pray tt seunghyun wont stay mad for long. I want to see his smile again.

.. Which brings me to another story
we just got back from sending tmax and fti off at the airport. While on the bus, rushing to the airport.. Praying and hoping so hard tt the boys will still be around, my fingers started trembling. Cldnt even sms properly. Ran up to the elevator. Heart pounding like mad, trying to hold all hope, tears abt to fall. The moment the elevator rang level 2 and the glass doors slid open, an all too familiar song started playing thru my headphones. It was 'Barae'. A smile creeped its way up to my face. With the song playing i ran up to the nearest flight signboard and saw Row 1 for Asiana Airlines. Saw some ppl at the departure hall entrance so i rushed there and spoke to some primadonnas. Saw two young maybe sec 3- sec 4 girls as striked up a conversation. Then it came to the part when i started to describe what i saw at seould out. Tears welled up in my eyes, all the frustration and sadness, and the girls calmed me down by saying tt the boys were so hyper at the hotel.. I was still in a sad disturbed state since yest night..
Fastforwarding.. After fti left, i talked to the two young fans again. One of the girls said something tt made such an impact on me. I asked if they managed to fancam fti and how they felt. One of them just started saying 'they were so sweet. So united. They shouted for fti as one. Im so touched', with a faraway dreamy expression.

tt was the best thing i heard from a fangirl. A typical fangirl wld say how cute the idol was, how closeup they were, how the idol smiled, waved, maybe even glanced at them. But she, she was touched at how united the fans were chanting each of the boys' names and fti's trademark chant. I salute her.
Ive got no words to describe how i feel. Just that im glad fans like that exist. I hope all follow her example.
Its not all abt the idols, its abt the love and sense of unity tt we shld uphold. Not to mention respect!

i think i get my inspiration usually before i fall asleep. Like right nw lying awake typing on my beloved n97. I love my wifi enabled handphonee! Tho it sucks having the phone fall on ur face when ur hand slips when typing/ holding the hp. HAHAHA stupid but true story. Caused a lip ulcer can? LOL

looking round i see couples emerging here and there. More and more single frens are getting bfs! Ahh i feel so happy for them :D and jealous too cuz i want one! I want someone who is veh open to things tt i love and willing to love it for me! I want someone to spazz with regarding new music loves (both kpop & scene) but minus all the drama and fights and heartbreaks. How is that possible? But everytime i'll keep on wishing til my man comes and sweeps me off my feet :-

ive logged off the lappy minutes ago. Yet i lay awake in bed crying. These days after being in the world of kpop i feel all my sadness disappearing. Only replaced or chased away by humorous pranks and emcees. But now that i think abt it life is still the same. The sadness is not gone. Its just in hiding..

This year i lost a good friend. I have no idea where the real person is but ive missed having a listening ear. Ive always been one to go all out for a friend. Just like daddy. But in the end what happens? We get stepped on. I'll do anything for a good friend- im spontaeneous like that. Yet im hesitant to make them do the same for me. Inferiority complex you might say. A 21st bdae party wld be rad but i hate having to go thru all the hassle. Why go thru the hassle at all i say but you keep insisting. Tt thing tt costs so much- if its so hard to find ppl who care enuf then i guess we shldnt even bother getting it. Gawdd i'll get it on my own then. Ahhhh!

gooood morning dear readers! well honestly i dont even know who's reading this blog of mine anymore.. *runs off and cries in the corner** aww come'on show some love at my tagboard y'all! hehe

back home from meeting fuzzy for dinner at fresh bulgoggi @ changi T2. Yummy! Im loving my new stuff tt i bought recently! My cyan hoodie with the colored prints, my white headphones (cld be better but the old one died on me TT TT) and the dark blue lappy case! Yayy thanks fai for accompanying me! Ive always been picky on choosing the correct design for the lappy bag. But i think Song (my laptop) is happy being encased in blue (just like the owner!) hahaha.

So many things to blog about, so little time. Sometimes i wish one day had more than 24hrs! Mainly cuz im almost always on the net and refuse to sleep at night. Then end up not being able to concentrate in school! Lol sorry lecturers! Im ADDICTED!!! Help!!

My name is Lee Ki Kwang

I was born on March 3, 1990. Junhyung, Hyunseung and I are the oldest children in our families. But we all have at least some cuteness. I have a younger brother.

I seem like I’m pushed around by the other members? Haha. I’m restraining myself for their sake.

Yes, I have taken off all the clothes on my upper body on stage before. Since I was filming a sitcom, I couldn’t be at the dry rehearsal, but the person who was in charge told me at the camera rehearsal that I had to take off my clothes decisively so I would show up well on the screen. But that person didn’t know how revealing my clothes actually were. He/she was fine with it since it was the first time but told me never to do it again.

I joked on the radio that I liked the ethics section of the college entrance exam, but fans took me seriously. Ah, I have to explain! Honestly, I’m not stupid. I studied well when I was younger.

Saeho from “High Kick Through the Roof” and the real me are pretty similar. We’re bright, a bit foolish, affirmative, and fond of exercise.

I couldn’t keep my focus when I had to film the scene where I confess to Jungeum nuna why I like her. Nuna is really pretty, and I think it was hard for me to recite the script in front of someone like that.

A lot of people say that Saeho is a character with a personality that is too simple. They also wish that he had more funny parts. But the truth is that Saeho is a character who is nice and bright when he’s outside but makes a 180 degree transformation when he goes home. Those parts still haven’t been shown, but I hope that they will be shown in the future.

I like crumping. I like to dance passionately with feeling and big movements like black people. So when I dance stage choreography, I dance so intensely that I’ve ripped my costume before. Starting with music video filming, the crotch area kept ripping so they changed the fabric, but they still ripped on stage, too.

I almost never do anything that’s bad for my body. I can restrain myself from things like that really well. I never eat ramen, and I hardly ever snack. Alcohol and cigarettes never touch my lips.

I’ve been working out for about 3 years. Even though there are times when it’s tiring to go work out by myself after our schedule, it’s become a part of my character so I have to. Also, if my body is good then I feel good, and I gain self-confidence, so I’m going to keep exercising.

I’m really nice to people when I first meet them. That’s my natural instinct. It’s not that I want anything from them later; I’m just the type of person who wants to become close with others. So I suck up to others a bit as well.

I think I’m a lot cooler than I was when I was younger. So I think that I “became a dragon at twenty years old.” My lips were thick back then…eh, now is better.

Son DongWoon

My name is Son Dongwoon.

I was born on June 6, 1991. All the hyungs acknowledge each other as friends, and I’m the only maknae since they can’t overlook a two year age difference.

I am a senior in high school. I took the college entrance exam this year. Kikwang hyung, Junhyung hyung, and Hyunseung hyung all took the exam too.

The day that Kikwang hyung excessively exposed himself, we were at a part in the choreography where all our heads were lowered, so we didn’t really know what was going on. The screaming was really loud, so I thought “Oh, Kikwang hyung must have done something really cool.” But after we came down from the stage, the director and other people said that it was a big deal. After watching the performance, the members were really surprised too.

I’ve lost my character, so even in my daily life, I’m gradually talking less. Ah…….. (Doojoon: Lately, Dongwoon has been hearing that he’s good looking. Have strength.)

The BEAST hyungs were trainees for long times too, but I started my trainee life a long time ago. I started in 2004 and then briefly left, but after seeing the hyungs that I practiced together with debut as 2PM and 2AM, I regained my focus. But while I took a break, I lost all my instincts and didn’t have any stage experience, so I was frustrated. (Kikwang: Dongwoon is only nice and good looking. Even during his trainee days, he was famous for that.)

When the other hyungs play games, Yoseub hyung and I eat midnight snacks, since we don’t even really know the rules of the games.

Truthfully, in MTV episode 1, my entrance into BEAST had already been decided, and we reenacted it. But because of my terrible acting, the PD didn’t give us any information after that.

That program was actually real. When we had the naval base experience, we thought we were going to play at the beach. We had our suspicions, but they kept denying it….they thoroughly kept the secret from us.

The hyungs are very protective of secrecy. When we divided into groups of 3 people and had a dance battle, we had to share the practice room since there is only one, and neither team told the other anything that they were doing. Hyunseung hyung, Yoseub hyung, and Doojoon hyung were one team, and they performed all kinds of things that they hadn’t even revealed in the rehearsal. They painted their faces, blew bubbles, and took off their pants. I was really surprised. (Hyunseung: We really wanted to win.)

When we practiced the choreography for the dance battle, the background music was R.Kelly’s “Bobble,” and I don’t listen to that song anymore. I heard it too much. I became sick of it.

Yang YoSeob

My name is Yang Yoseob.

I was born on January 5, 1990.

I have one older sister. You can think of her as me but with a smaller face, smaller body, and long hair. The truth is that my mom and dad look similar too. If the four of us stand together, even from far away people say, “Oh, they’re a family!”

I first started practicing singing after I listened to Brian McKnight’s music. After that, I listened to a lot of music of a similar style, but I thought about it and realized that I couldn’t be biased towards certain music. So I also started listening to dance music and rock.

I was in a band when I was in high school. At that time, we performed a lot of hard rock and metal, but the truth is that I wanted to try modern rock. But my sunbaes said that it would ruin the mood and forbade it. Even now, modern rock is a genre that personally, I really want to try.

Originally, I'm artistically or musically talented because I take after my dad. I couldn’t dance. Because I’ve practiced, I’ve reached this level with difficulty. (Doojoon: Yoseub learns the fastest now. Junhyung: He can even make choreography by himself.)

My hairstyle changed dramatically, but I think it was a successful transformation, so I like it. It’s to the point where the members look at old pictures of me with black hair and think I look weird. They keep telling me to bleach it, but it’s a bit sad. Since I’m Asian, black hair keeps growing…

On KBS , the PD said I looked like a shi tzu, and my mom was really happy when she saw that episode. Since I received one more camera shot. She complimented me on tying my hair.

Honestly, my manly/sexy side is disappearing, and I used to not like being called cute. I would just throw on clothes to wear carelessly, and I couldn’t act silly. But now that’s become a part of my color, so I accept it, and I even mess around more enthusiastically.

Maybe it’s because started filming videos a long time ago, but when people ask me to perform, instead of being embarrassed I try to make something good out of it. Even in front of a blue screen, I’m not embarrassed. If you type in “Yang Yoseub” in a search engine, a lot of videos come out. Look them up when you’re bored!

When Dongwoon is only with us, he’s really fun, to the point where at first, MTV PD said that Dongwoon and I had the biggest chance to succeed in entertainment. But as soon as the camera gets in his face, he’s not fun anymore. So he’s slowly becoming more awkward, his screen time is shrinking, and the kid seems like he’s going to develop a speech impediment, plus he’s aging more and more. Hahaha.

Doojoon has a strong sense of responsibility, and even if something is taken care of, he has to check the process himself before he’s satisfied. So if Doojoon wasn’t here [in BEAST] we probably wouldn’t have been able to do interviews, music programs, anything. You see, Doojoon wakes up first and wakes up all the other members.

At home, the members like to play games like “Winning Eleven,” but at those times, everyone’s desire to win is no joke. Kikwang kept saying that he would cancel the patbingsoo debt he owed Doojoon after he lost a bet, but eventually he had to buy patbingsoo for everyone in the house. At that time, I think he used more than 20,000 won? (approx. $20 ish) Hahaha.

Yong JunHyung

My name is Yong Jun Hyung.

I was born on December 19, 1989. Even though our school year is the same, whether one be born on '89 or '90, it doesn't seem like a huge difference.

When Ki Kwang was performing as AJ, I worked as his back up dancer as well as a featuring, so I do have some experience on stage, but as a singer, holding the microphone was pretty heavy. However, as I was standing on stage, I practiced spotting the camera and adapted to this really quickly.

We choreographed our dance. Our dance teacher did give us some feedback and opinions, but we are the ones who proposed the contents of the dance. In fact, during practices, we are very radical and would do our so-called 'jack-hammer-like' dance, but we ended up doing a light, lively stage performance, so it's a bit regretful. Just like MBLAQ, i would love to do a more strong, stylish performance in the future.

I nag a lot at our dorm. But i don't do it without a reason. There's always a reason. With our 6 members and 3 managers, making 9 guys living in the dorm, really...it makes no sense! They don't clean and after they eat snacks, they just leave it around, and when flies come out, they don't even catch them. A few days ago, I cleaned out the whole living room, you guys don't even know that, do you? [Doo Joon: We don't. After you clean, you nag. So that's how we know. hehe.]

Out of the members, me and Hyun Seung are interested in fashion. And in the past, since we came to watch many artists on stage, we were a bit greedy of their outfits. But somehow because of the song's atmosphere, team's environment, and the company's thoughts on our image, we aren't quite ready to enter the field of styling. And if the image of the stage outfits and our casual clothes are different, it's good to show people two different appearances.

I love hats, so I like wearing them. i don't have much to collect, but maybe one day i could get a room filled with hats.

Doo Joon can't fail when using his head. Doo Joon is always the best at thinking up a lot of games.

When practicing, as much as you do it, it isn't always efficient. Usually one would do it if they want to, Hyun Seung, unlike others, would always look for that moment. Even right now, when our schedule ends, Hyun Seung would be the one to practice alone until dawn.

I wrote the rap parts in the lyrics of 'Bad Girl'. Sometimes, to others, the lyric's rhyme and flow can be awkward. One time, before composer hyung went to get coffee, he told me 'some are durable, try it', and while he left, I started to think up ideas. When recording, I once modified it and we almost went with that. Though I can't say I am the best, I'm satisfied by the results.

As I practice writing lyrics alone, the contents of the lyrics are more imporatnt to me than the flow. I listen to a lot of underground music, like Kebee and The Quiett, and their lyrics really come to mind. I hate hearing people say that I rap because I can't sing, but I put a lot of effort on my own. But the more I do, the more I'm mesmerized. Whenever I'm writing lyrics, I always put Yo Seob next to me. We talk back and forth and come up with great ideas, so it helps a lot. [Yo Seob: Really? I should've just gathered those words and wrote it myself!]

The members talk to each other a lot. So, now I have nothing much to say. In the past, we talked about each other's past girlfriends so much that I'm not even curious anymore.

I can be a perfectionist. I want things to be perfect. How should I put it. I don't hate anything I just pursue the idea. That's it.

Now after a month the company has made us start practicing everyday and dancing. But it is art so we have to keep a theoretical approach of how it will be in the future. Haha

When I first saw Doo Joon was probably when I learned he was our leader, he looked reliable. Jun Hyung was mysterious and shy but he was easy to get along with. Yo Seob was an old friend but I couldn't imagine as it is now!

Kikiwang or AJ made his debut and he was a good solo artist. I¡¯m so glad he joined our group. The dancing is difficult but easier when you have others. When you dance you can meet friends with similar interests and work hard together, it makes me happy. And, that¡¯s what happened. And, then I didn't know this was the cause.

When you eat it has to be light. I didn't know this when we had to exercise and it(stomach)hurt, but now I know. Even now I still want to eat cake but I can only look. Ah, I shouldn't eat.(Yo Seob: Look at Hyun Seung's body in the album!)

My name is Yoon Doo Joon.

I was born on July 4, 1989. I might not be the oldest, but I'm the team's leader.

Recently fans have revealed pictures from my past, but I'm afraid of my past, though there isn't a reason to avoid it. Now everything is out, but the present is more important so it's okay. However, when I was young, I was a cute kid.

Though Yo Seob shows many different dance adlibs, in fact, he just watches videos and tries to do them. For one month, we would be on 4 different music shows, and I feel as though the audience would get bored watching the same thing over and over. So, we are going to try to make an effort to show something different.

When we first filmed MTV BEAST, we decided to set our characters based on our image or features. But when, little by little, the cameras came over to me, and I think up words I want to say, in the end, I noticed the others showing their natural side. In my case, I was supposed to have the calm yet charismatic image......it makes no sense. Haha.

If MBC asks me to be a cameo, I'm ready at any time! I would love to be one of the students who pick on Seo Ho. And especially Yo Seob who can be the exchange student.

Honestly, even though I'm not the oldest, being a leader is burdensome. Though it's a difficult and embarrassing situation, what can we do, someone has to do it. Whether it be talking to adults or convincing others, it's better to place myself out there than having another member do it, only because it didn't fit their individual character.

My training period was really short. Because I started this when I was a senior in high school. I wanted to do music, but I could only do songs that I already knew. During my life as a trainee, even though I could mimic dance moves and liked decorating my face, if only I concentrated more on my singing I think I would sing a bit more better than now. When I was in middle school, I loved black people's music and since then i mainly listened to soul music. And so, I follow the features of the music and tend to sing along. I would try to find my own color.

I taught myself piano. I don't learn classical music or play very well, but by myself, I can play while singing. When attending my first music academy, my first practice song was Richard Marx's "Now and Forever", but since I didn't have the MR, I learned the piano code myself. At first I practiced that song to death.

Even though Dong Woon looks like that, he's really the maknae. When we're at home, he would come to me using his cute act and say "Hyung~~".

Without writing, I can remember trivial things really well. Like, when, where I met them, and the clothes they wore. And that's why I'm the best at rock-paper-scissors. Because usually, I can see who is going to put down what first. Scientifically proven, because the law is, I am invincible.

ohgawd. i feel so damn guilty for not updating dear blog. do forgive ur master!
anyways as most of you guys have known, i am currently back to school. today is the third week at NYP! Advanced diploma in gerontology (study of old people to put in simple words). I've always been intersted in this speacialisation. Well first i had an interest in gynaecology but my heart was set on geron since the start. Actually i have no idea from where this love of old people came up.. cuz i was never that close to my grandparents. My belated maternal grandparents always seem to belittle me- well not so severely. more of like when we visited them, they'll always say that im as short/small as ever and never seem to grow up. (which i HATED when my mum said tt to her friends). do i have a choice? my parents are short themselves lor? and im a girl la... aigooyaa~

I was never one who know how to handle kids- So no pediatrics for me.
I always cried at stories abt cancer- So no oncology for me.
I've always hated the thot of running around in an ICU in a collapse- So no med-surg or intensive care.
I know nuts abt bones and its diseases- So no orthopedics.
I've always loved taking care of old senile patients who tell the funniest of stories.
I've always loved the smile on their faces when they thank you.
I love seeing them on good days and hated it when they turn bad (condition-wise).
I've teared seeing many pass on.
Rehabilitation is quite interesting i must say.
Yup im glad to say i love GERONTOLOGY!
So if i comment that some old uncle or auntie on the train is cute, dont give me that funny look yea? I really do find them cute! HAHA

ive always loved my belated paternal grandma. she died when i was in primary six or early sec years. I still remember that one Hari Raya when i was the only one who got $50 cuz she said it was as a gift for PSLE (cant rmbr if it was pre or post PSLE); and i kept boasting to my brothers who were sulking away.. HAHA. She wld always fry chicken wings/ drumlets whenever we come over for a visit (which was not tt often i regret to say cuz they live as far as Telok Blangah and me at Hougang). Nyai (grandma in javanese i think) died of brain cancer. My family and some of my relatives were lucky enuf to kiss her hands and visit her at the hospital before she left the world. In my vague dream like memory i remember kissing her hands goodbye, which we as bloated as balloons due to her illness, as we left the hospital. That was on Hari Raya Haji. That very night we received a call from my paternal auntie who stayed over, that Nyai had passed over to the other side. May Allah protect her. Nyai i love and miss you. Why did you have to leave so fast? You were always so kind and loving. Always with a smile on your face..

life in school beats ward life so bad. the stories we hear abt the ward never seems to get better. the politics, the complaints, the scoldings. gawd i do hope i dont go back to the hell hole when my 8 mths are up. assignments are okay i guess. the only thing is that its a whole lot harder than normal diploma topics. and being 'seniors' they expect us to know a lot more things and be more independent. I STILL WANNA BE SPOONFED! HOWW!~
and the majority of my classmates are all married and have an average of 2 kids each la. how do you bond with a parent? i feel that its a big difference to talk to an adult than to talk to a parent. LOL.
at least there are 2 girls who are interested in kpop! hehe

and im busy trying to influence my colleague who is now my classmate to kpop. Her name's Rahmahwati and she was my favourite senior at work so im happy being her classmate :D
now she's very much into 2Days 1Night and MC Mong. She knows abt Big Bang existence and watches KBS at times.

Usually its very hard to get me hooked on to ballads.. But these few days ive been more and more interested in many ballad singers/ groups.

First there was 8Eight. Thanks to their new song- Goodbye My Love with maknae JinWoon in their MV.

Then there was Mr Park Hyo Shin with After Love. Im still waiting for english subs to appear! Hehe. Im sure it is one sad sad song. His new album that he is promoting now (Gift) is also quite good like the single (Gift). And the more i stare at it, the more i start to love his hair!
I thought it was blonde at first but its actually those bright-ish orange red tho not as fiery as Hongki's orange hair. But the texture, curls and fringe was exactly the same at Hongstar's. I like :D
kinda watched his videos for Gift- Jaejin & Minhwan's aegyo made an appearance on Part 3! And on Jeju Island nonetheless! Ahhh memories~

I’ve texted most of my dreams over to my kpop friends the moment I woke up. Now after my 2nd 2PM dream I’m inspired to blog down all my kpop dreams for them (and for me!) to relive. If I miss something, do let me know! :D
　
My dream of TVXQ was had lots of skinship. It featured 4 members except Junsu. Since it happened quite some time ago, I cant quite remember the storyline.
The venue was at home. Me and a few of my friends were hanging out at home- much like a gathering tho many faces I don’t recognise. We were talking when someone introduced TVXQ as good friends of theirs. They were goofing around in my room so I went in. The feeling it had was of a very light, happy and friendly one. I felt very much at home :D
I think we were sitting on beanbags at one point (tho I don’t own any)..
Fun part happens when we were playing a game. But now tt I think abt it.. I don’t know what’s the objective.
HAHA
But it had skinship! Not those pervertic ones mind you.. More like funny games. With Changmin it had something to do with legs, then Yunho piggybacked me (I remembered having a good time! Haha). Then came Yoochun’s (my fave member) part.. We were thinking hard what to do with me blushing so hard…
.. But then I woke up.

My first 2PM dream featured Leadja himself and the rest were just fuzzy images/ memories. Darn. The atmosphere was like at a pool party. Crowded and happy. But the venue was in my house too..
I had a conversation with Jay tho. There were so many of us. We all wanted to take individual photos with Jay and the other members but then I suggested to take like a whole group photo! Jay was very kind to all our requests; much like a good friend. Then I somehow had an inking that the dream was gonna end. That morning I was going out to meet Fuzzy. And she somehow got mentioned by me to Jay in the dream. I asked him if it was okay for me to bring a friend along to meet him and he said yes! Haha. I was so excited to text Fuzzy and tell her the good news when I suddenly woke up. The dream was all too real! I wasn’t sure if I was holding my phone when I woke up tho… HAHA
But u shld guess what happened next :p

The dream I’ll treasure the most was of my baby Kwon.
Venue was none other than my workplace- in the hospital/ wards.
Kwon was one of my patients. It looked like it was a night duty whereby we stood at our posts/ stations outside our patient’s rooms. In the dream, the room was Room 25 first half.
Kwon’s bed was at 25/1. He looked so cute in white-ish blue patient’s uniform/gown. He woke up looking quite scared/ disturbed as if awakening from having a nightmare.
I quickly rushed over to him and hugged him to sleep.
The dream may be short but I’ll treasure it always.
I can still remember his smile in my dream. Ahh the tranquility of seeing Jiyong sleep brings me peace of heart.
Weirdly enuf now that I try to imagine the dream again, I keep seeing Kwon with blond hair when in truth it was long before he had it. I think tt time was even before they went to Japan.

Another two dreams tt deserve mention includes my alltime favourite band :Blink 182. And also MCR!
At one point of time I was listening to Blink 182 to sleep every night. Thanks to my big brother’s disk player. Its one of those damn cool square portable players tt use square disks- I cant for the life of me remember what they are called!! I listened to them til I memorized every song and sang myself to sleep. I loved them to the extent that my heart ached! (Have you ever loved a band to that extent?)
I was hoping that my Blink dream had a lot of interaction with Thomas Delonge cuz he was my favourite member. But it had more Travis Barker. Venue was in my bedroom.
I used to sleep on mattresses on the floor with my two brothers. In the dream Mark Hoppus and Travis were lying with their head on pillows beside me. Mark didn’t really talk much but I recalled having like a heart to heart talk with Travis. In it he is such a good guy! Very down to earth; a very brotherly feeling. My sub consciousness has a very good image of him! (:
When we were lying down and talking, I spotted Tom checking himself out in the full length mirror we have in the hallway. (HAHA vain pot much?) Then I plucked up my courage to go talk to him. Cause everyone knows how shy I am to talk to someone I like. Wahhh in the end I got snubbed by him. Tom just gave me attitude like short answers etc.
All in all it was an honour getting to dream abt Blink and talking to Travis. But getting snubbed by Tom was like :X
Though I still love and respect the boy like no other!
Wish you all the best in the Blink reunion. You guys have to stop by Singapore!!

I started liking MCR around Three Cheers & Helena era. I remember getting all excited buying their album and singing and dancing (and shouting!) along to their songs while playing it on the radio damn loud and replaying it til mummy nagged that her ears were crying. Daddy commented tt I listened to songs with singers who sounded like durians sprouted in their throats o.O
I really cant remember details but it was a blast! Cuz they were performing on my bed and I was jumping around like mad!! HAHA. And to think my bed is actually the bottom bunk of a double bunk bed! LOL
How the hell can a drum set get on it.. Not to mention the whole band! Memories <3

last night i had another dream of 2pm after a long time of not having them. I've missed them sooo much!! I had no idea why i was there but the storyline is just too cute for words! The moment i woke up i quickly mass sent my dream to my kpop friends.

First scene showed Bada being pulled into 2PM's rehearsal room by Baek Ji Young. Apparently Bada was jealous of BJY cuz she got to perform My Ear Candy with Ok Taec Yeon and all she got was her song So I'm In Love with him. Weird thing was that she kept insisting that she had never seen Taec. So we enter the room and Taec is standing there in a shiny white suit looking all surprised at his noonas' entrance.
Suddenly someone barges in and straight away sits on one of the many light pink chairs in the room. It was non other than Mr Park Jay Beom. All of us looked shocked. Taec was speechless and he kept jumping and pointing at Jay. I stared at Jay. He looked shy. Like how he was in those airport fancams. All of us were wondering how in the hell he flew back to Korea..
But there wasnt any crying only happiness! No one blamed him for anything. I cant really rmbr what conversation we had with him (tho it does seem to be a crucial part of the story) but on and off Jay had like a blank face on. I guess in my mind he was still troubled..
There cld have been a dance in there somewhere but my mind didnt register it. LOL

then came the funny part. we were back at my home kitchen. Nickhun was telling me something. Get this; He said that Singapore's main soccer team was SengKang FC! After he said that he turned with a smug grin on his face. (LOL cuteness la NICK! He looked like he was proud of being such a lil genius!) I was like.. uhhh okay... ( really random la nick! what reaction can i give? haha)
then i took the opportunity to tug on his sleeve and ask him for a favour (in view of him being one of the 'American Boys' :D)
I spotted WooYoung in my living room dinner table eating. So i pulled Nick over to Woo. He was very shocked and stood up. I looked straight into Nick's innocent eyes and told him to translate to Woo that he was my favourite 2PM member cuz he was so cute, crazy and humble! At the same time when i was spilling my heart out i cld feel tears flowing.. gosh

but then nick interupted by asking 'how do i translate 'humble' in korean?'

i woke up to the sound of baek ji young's song (my hp message tone) whilst thinking of a word to describe humble.

anberlin at baybeats 2009.
A dream come true!
Last year it was Blindside. This year one of my all time favourite band headlined the show!
I wldnt miss it for the world!

Sequence of events:
- we were late for the acoustic show but somehow managed to squeeze thru the sides and get a full (side) view of nate and the band. The atmosphere was awesome with everyone singing along. The whole stage was packed!
- powerhouse perf need to be spazzed!
I was standing like in the 6th, 7th row from the stage to the left. While awaiting anberlin's soundcheck, some teens decided to light a cigarette and smoke. Bloody inconsiderate much? So packed still got the cheek to light up. They got lots of glares form ppl but they turned a blind eye. Then the stars of the night entered. The whole crowd pushed forward and it got a whole lot more packed.
The moment the song started, everyone was pushing and shoving. I didnt really mind it. Just joined in and danced, headbanged and sang. The joy of listening to anberlin live is just overwhelming.

Bad points of being in the pit:
- i have aweful stamina! Got damn shagged and breathless halfway thru and ppl were still shoving. There seriously was not enuf air to breathe. It felt so damnfuckg stuffy like a sauna. I nearly fainted thrice. I closed my eyes and swayed but nearly fell. Panted like a dog at some point of time. Hahaha must have looked quite a sight. (but i dont care eh eh eh eh eh)
- muddy shoes and skinny jeans became the victim
- who put those pebbles at the stage area?! Haha sharp pebbles crawled into the shoes and prevented me from jumping alot
- my lips and face made contact with a lot of sweaty backs. Like ewwwww! There was one skinny malay boy who took of his shirt. My hand swept across his and i totally drew back. I gave a disgusted look and hightailed out of there. Haha eww much?
- was unable to get a good video of them. Cuz of all the shoving and stuff. And when i did manage, my hands were all shaky due to excitement and fatigue. (the last song was a slow song)

good points:
- i made use of the advantage of being in the crowd tt was pulsating forward and back; i pushed my way to the front and got a clear view of my heroes :D
but then i got tired of maintaining my spot and let them push me to the back to rest.
- one of the best crowd experience ever! Everyone was so hyper. Quite a few knew anberlin's songs and we all sang in unison.
- just listening to my fave songs live.. Makes my heart sing :D i love anberlin!!
Godspeed was goddamn osemm! I wish i cld relive the night :')

guys i hope we (sg-ians) made a gd impression on you guys. At the end of ur acoustic set, you said til the end of ur days you'll rmbr tt moment forever. When everyone sang in unison. I hope u really mean it. And at the end of the powerhouse set, you said you'll see us real soon.. I hope u guys are planning for a concert again. Please ohplease let it be that. You know who'll be there!

If you ask me, ChunJin shared a lot of little scenes together, mostly subtle. But I love their bickerings and sweet scenes. They're my favorite couple in FO.

FO's Chunhee and Yejin had officially left the charming show "Family Outing". Being a non-korean fan, I didnt know how much tears I shed when I watched their last two episodes despite not understanding the language. I guess you could say that's the power FO has over
us internatioinal fans, we laugh when they laugh and cry when their eyes sparkle with tears... Yes.

Like many others, I have been following FO ever since my
lovable boys DBSG appeared on it and was instantly hooked. Yes, it's a drug. A drug that sweetens my every Sunday (a big thanks to RSS!!).

The songs that I chose for this mv probably represent all the emotions that I felt when the news and reality hit me... :(

The 1st song is "Already One Year" by Brown Eyes.
The title says it all doesn't it? It has been a year of
fun-filling episodes of FO. A year with the family. A year with
Savage but sweet Yejin; a year with clumsy but sincere Chunhee. They'll be missed but never forgotten.

The second song is by Gavy NJ Hee young & Jang Hye Jin "Twilight". I won't take their absence as sunset but rather the beautiful rays of sunrise. Let's not cry because it's the end of them but smile for a new beginning.
I know it's hard to do but the two new members need the audience's support more than ever.

And the last song of all is "Right Here Waiting". No matter what happens I enjoyed FO's ups and downs and will support them until SBS cancels it. The future days are uncertain without ChunJin but I'm sure the members of FO would try their best to cope with their loss. As a fan, we should also do the same.

ChunHee & Yeh Jin were both one of my favourite characters in FO. The Dumb&Dumber couple tops my list but both Chunhee and Yeh Jin have their own charm tt made their characters all the more lovable. Chun Hee i found out from one of the past episodes with DBSK that he has one of the highest IQ compared to the other members. (LOL Jaesuk 114 and Dae 110!!) But even then he has GOT to be one of the dorkiest member! He always get bullied by Kim Sooro til the name Chunderella stuck. I like Chun Hee for being the naive and kind person that he is, not to mention he's tall and cute too!

Park Yeh Jin. *Sigh* I have written past posts praising Yeh Jin of her sweet looks and vicious courage that she portrays in FO. And im so loving her in the Michegesso MV by MC Mong. She's probably one of the many reasons im loving MC Mong and his songs right now.

SINGAPORE : Singapore Minister for Health Khaw Boon Wan said Singaporeans should not be surprised by the cases H1N1 virus occurring in Hong Kong and South Korea.

Mr Khaw said: "I have been warning that this thing will come to Asia, if not already here. And one day, it may appear in Singapore too. So our gearing up (over the) last few days were all in anticipation of this.
"I think at this stage we are quite well on the alert and the measures... Take it in its stride; this thing may just blow over. Hopefully that’s the case, in which we will treat this as a good exercise of our plan.
"But if this thing were to become more serious, and we were to turn (pandemic alert) red or black, then at least we have the pieces in place to gear up speedily."
Mr Khaw was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a candlelight procession by the Buddhist Welfare services.
He was asked if the ministry has plans to vaccinate those at the frontline, like immigration officers, against common flu to eliminate false alarms.

the swine flu's causing much chaos at work.
sgh is taking lots of standard precautions. first it was the compulsory mak wearing tt makes it damn hard to breathe and today i even felt so dizzy (maybe cuz i was still tired post-badminton session the day before) it was kinda scary when i felt like i was swaying slightly while serving meds in the morning. the patient load is kinda low now which is a good thing and abad thing too in case they start sending cases all at once. i hope tt doesnt happen. espesh not on my night please~
if u're bathing or sponging patients, you'll hafta wear the PPE (yellow plasticish gown with gloves). just 10 mins in tt thing and you yourself need a bathe ahh. sweat buckets i tell ya.. today they started not allowing the casenotes to be left in the respective rooms. HAH what next i wonder? hmm and two days back we've been told worse news (tho it is a bit expected) no one is allowed to leave for AL- the only leave granted is emergency leave.. OMG

then how can i leave this country and visit South K? Was so looking forward to the trip. I hate having to look forward to something and have it all smashed to pieces. really hope this situation clears up soon. shincha tweji pabo! cheomal michigessso!!

You know it gets frustrating when everytime i get online, i feel like blogging but it the end after surfing facebook, checking thru emails, youtube surfing and doing all the mandatory internet stuff, i get tired and leave it for another day. gosh tt is sooo not a gd work ethic.

Speaking of work, it been getting a bit more hectic after an incident which happened and after tt there were many issues and complaints from other patient relatives- most of which were very unmotivating to all of us. Nowadays i go back to work with my heart beating fast thinking 'god. i wonder what will go wrong today? i pray everything goes as per normal'.

Sometimes i feel like sharing the incidents at work here but its all confidential so i wont. Last two nights were quite uneventful- except for my first night when one of my patients collapsed at 06.41AM (Morning shift starts at 7AM). I had to stay back to settle the death till 09.30AM (in which i was not familiar cuz so far tt was only the second death tt happened on my duty.) Sometimes i wonder why i took up this job, when all we get day by day are useless complaints one after the other. Please make everything stay okay and manageable for a long time.

I often hear stories abt my seniors (long time ago) when they cldnt cope at the beginning and they cried at work alot of times. For me, some times when i really feel like i cannot cope, i'll feel myself tearing but i never cld cry at work and let everyone else see me weep. Instead i'll trudge back home on tired legs and sleepy eyes, sit in front of the bedroom fan (on full blast) and cry. To make things worst, mummy adds salt to the wound by nagging abt house chores and stuff when she blardy hell knows i've been working 6 days straight and dont even have enough time to recuperate/ sleep. I cant bear to share my worries/ troubles from work with mummy cuz i dont wanna burden her. But i know tt if i do breakdown, she'll be there.

I have lots of support from my colleagues and superiors- even our sharptongued SNM. I know she's doing her best to help us and make the ward more managable but how i wish her words dont hurt so deep. gosh/

it's hard being all chirpy and bubbly nowadays but well i need a break every once in a while.
Global Warning Tour screening at the Arts House with Big Bang Singapore on 12th April was awesomest! Nothing beats screaming, spazzing and swooning over my favourite boys with other sgVIPS who'll love to do notheing else but tt on a Sunday morning. Its great meeting new ppl and new faces though tt meeting we didnt get to interact much. Tho i heard they'll be organising another meeting soon with more interaction. YAY
thanks very the khamsa to Fuzzy & Fai for accompanying me to the show. I wldnt be as hyper if you guys werent there to scream with me. hehe. i'm still basking in the fangirling atmosphere.
the HQ NII posters tt they printed out for us was great. i even got Mr Kwon Leadah as my first pick! How i wish i got everyone else too! Then my room will be even more uh.. love~

*i'll let you in on a secret. ever since i started this love for the korean music scene, the dramas and the language in particular, i feel more peaceful. you know what with work being such a pain in the arse and me listening to emo and screamo (i love it to bits still), this new kpop wave has made me feel lighter and more positive. watching dance parodies and anticipating new MVs and albums, getting my hands on the merch, not to mention dressing up the part.. i love it!
im not sure how long this phase will last, but i hope it stays for a loooong time.

Its 2am on a monday morning. i just ended my night on sunday morning. wow tt last round is exhausting! first night we had a slightly confused really notty auntie who kept climbing out of bed and pulling out her plug while insisting tt she wants to go home (when its 5 in the morning!) Like seriously she friggin changed into her home clothes without us knowing and proceeded to find the exit. tt ended up in me trying to persuade her in my broken mandarin hokkien but to no avail. hahahah she end up shouting at me in cantonese. with help from my colleagues we managed to persuade her to stay till the morning shift ppl comes~

2nd night was a bit less exciting, except for the fact tt right before the night shift started one new admission patient fell in the toilet. in the middle of the night when serving meds for him, we noticed tt his tonger was swollen and the bottom part of his tongue WAS FRIGGIN TORN!!!
like wth wth wth. thank god it didnt hit any vessels. if not there'll be blood everywhere. the story goes, most prolly he had tt tear from his first seizure at home. like wtf the thot alone is so scary. so does tt mean its possible when they say tt u can bite off ur tongue in a seizure? so rmbr kids, you have to put something in a person's mouth when they're having seizures, in order for them to live with their tongue intact. but its also impt tt u dun stuff it with a hugeass item- not to block the airway! a spoon (facing down)is best.

the third night we came to the ward to see many empty beds. in which all the beds have been booked by BMU (Bed Management Unit)- so tt means the patients will def come during our time. great.
there was one mistake tt BMU made, by sending this one critically ill patient to our side (B2) when he was supposed to go to B1 side. so we pushed him over.
3 hours later we heard he passed away.
ah gosh

how i miss the times when our nights were uneventful and we;ll sit eating our Macs happily. haha~

im a big fan of Family Outing though its embarassing to say i'm not really tt updated on the newer episodes cuz of time constraints.

i'd hate to jinx the trip if its not confirmed but near the start of July me and fuzzy will be going to the Land of Miracles - KOREA! (: (:
so many things to plan. tour agencies are such a hard thing to find. Espesh those with English speaking tourguides. Most agencies have tourguides tt speak huayi (which is kinda racist if you ask me) and most of the food contain pork (tweji) so they cant guaranteee its halal or not. Mostly all they can assure is no pork no lard.
I found around 3 agencies tt offer Muslim packages but its not in much details so we'll have to look in to that (Muhibbah Travel, CTC Holdings & Ez travel)

Live & Loaded with AVA was awesome. The whole place was packed with fans and the atmosphere was just so exuberant. Everyone was so hyper to be on tv. The music was great, the place was cool, mcs were happening. nothing cld have been better. Once AVA started playing, all hell broke loose. the studio didnt look the same after tt ordeal. i had so much fun dancing and screaming to AVA.. I'm sure all of you who went felt the same(:
now my back is still aching and my throat is suffering.. but tt was some experience ey?

Be strong like the way you've always been, the way i've always seen you in my 8 months here. Thanks for all the guidance and advice. I speak for the rest of us at B2, we'll miss you and your craziness! Things won't be the same again~ But i'm sure we'll manage somehow ;p

Jie Ling was my preceptor, the one who guided me thru my final attachment at sgh w46 before i graduated to become a full-fledged nurse. she was known by all the staff to be the tough and loudspoken one. one thing tt made ppl be wary of her is that she was really friendly with out ward sister and everyone knows tt that is one way to kiss the ass of the higher authorities. but well i try not to judge ppl that way. often she told me stories of when she was a new nurse and how she cried so many times due to not being able to cope and other such work related stress. (she's been working as a nurse for 3 years- with 3 more years to go to finish off her 6 yr bond as she's a china national). At first i was taken aback by stories of backstabbing and by her loudspoken-ness and her harsh ways of making me learn.. but i know it was only to make me a better nurse. i have slowly grown to love her laughter and her jokes. she was always the one to 'chope' to be the first one to pass report to the night duty ppl so tt she can go home earlier. heh.
but the one event tt made me see a whole different person was tt 'outing' we had during raya season to SN Mr Bahrain's open house. Others would have sniggered to know tt i went there with Jie Ling, SN Wong and some other ppl but what happened tt day made me realise how human my colleagues really are. Tt last sentence can be a bit harsh but from the looks and comments tt ppl give to them, i can tell tt they are really on the top of everyone's list. Back to the Open House, when waiting for the rest, i got to talk to JL like friends, not like colleagues abt work-related crap, but as real friends abt how she came to SG from HK and how many siblings she got and how she's still looking for someone etc. heh
the one incident tt took place was when we were crossing the overhead bridge, it was raining i think. tho the bridge was sheltered, it was undergoing upgrading and the whole floor was like full of woodchips and stuff. i had no idea why this happened but JL quickly held my hand and we half walked/ half ran across the bridge. the moment she held my hand, i cld feel a sense of light-ness in my body. and i felt a smile creeping its way to my face. its not like a lesbian thingy im sure. more like a 'wow-i-cant-believe-we're-friends!' later tt night we all had a heart-2-heart talk tt had all of us crying. well i just listened cuz i was new in 46 and was not really in all the politics of work but yea you get the gist. everyone had something to say abt the management.
most importantly, i experienced the melting of the ice queen. and i miss her so.
cuz a few weeks after tt she was transfered to another ward (neuro ICU) cuz she was interested to learn ICU Nursing and wanted a new environment.

WJL, i can never thank you enough for being my preceptor. i've learnt of the hard things in life like no matter how nice i can be, there'll always be someone out there who'll be mean and harsh back. so you cant really trust anyone. and i wish to be strong willed like you- like how you wont ever back down and stand up to something you want.

I was damn happy to see everyone today. The rushing down to the place was worth it la. Wasnt feeling tired even a bit.. Yeah i was really missing everyone, missing VLC. To me one blood means ONE BLOOD. Even tho the feeling might not be mutual.. Which is kind of sad it you think abt it.

its sad how things turned out to be now. recently VL had tt acoustic xmas set. i sat there at the corner, beside my primmy poo singing along to all their songs thinking, how i wish the rest of VLC was here to sing along and laugh together at how everyone knew the lyrics by heart and how far we've come, how we've come to know each other.
Kai who's friends of Des and Ramon and who bcame my Ubin cycling buddy and how i came to know of his best friend and his gf, Baz. who, awesomely enough is just as big a Plainsunset fan as he is. 'When the sun rises again, i'll be there with you my friend~'
Fai, Zim, Sakinah, Zul are the best band members anyone cld ask for. SIGH. the memories of performing for BandZout are cherished. What a great start of a new year.. My bus driver greeted me GOOD MORNING! Then i greeted him back. One look at me and he laughed, "Hehe. Overnight ar?"

that sms was sent at 0807hrs. the night before, me, primmy and jason spent new year's eve up all night at marina bay to countdown with the rest of singapore. i bought reise, my white horse-who-wishes-he-was-a-unicorn, prim bought optimus alex and jason was supposed to bring freddy but he was too shyy.. hahaa
primmy headed over to the powerhouse stage to watch the performances in which she saw peepshow perform and whom she came to love. i went to buy burgers from BK for us starving loons which jason stayed to guard our piece of land. the fireworks tt night wasnt as awesome as us being together to celebrate the start of the new year. thanks so much for all your help in my time of need. i miss you guys so. when will we get to have other times like this? the rest of the night we tried sleeping on benches and i laughed so hard at your jokes abt ipood tshirts and homer simpsons tho i cant for the life of me rmbr how it went.
our zoo outing was superbly fun! how freddy lured the baby monkeys to the front of the glass display, how primmy still refused to be near the butterfly enclosure and tt long time we spent admiring the monkeys with their babies while eating chips ahoy! ahahah. they were looking at us eat!
how jason kept shouting 'hottie! hottie!' in tt hindi slang to the bunch of banglas. the weirest thing was going to the zoo the day before ah meng died. tho we didnt really go and see her, it was still weird knowing tt a singapore celebrity was on her death bed while we visited her home.
we need to plan for more crazy outings!

this new year i didnt have the heart to go celebrate. first of all cuz i was working afternoon shift. secondly my dad already prohibited any plans of going out to clubs or some countdown party. thirdly, cuz i know i can never top last year's countdown celebration. singing tbs and plainsunset songs til 6am in the morning with primmy. how i miss the times~

i've been inspired by hailwa's blog entry to officially bid a fond farewell to 2008 and welcome 2009. so here goes,

2008 held lots of fond memories.
-of times spent cycling with friends and family at pulau ubin- remember when we met and fed that stray dog soggy hot dog buns? and that one time kai and his best friend tried to do the uphill zigzagging thing but failed misrably? haha
-the days spent celebrating friends' birthdays.
primmy's party at BluJaz was a bomb! and so was the chalet after that. i still laugh thinking abt it
-going to london was definately the hightlight of the year
thanks to primmy i got to have tt experience tt i feel i wont EVER get to do on my own. And watching the Futureheads LIVE? wow.
if only we could have gotten tix to the NME show. bloc party & arctic monkeys~

- i started working as a kanusa (nurse). it has been pretty hectic and so very hard on my body (i lost weight cuz i kept starving myself T.T) and i hope i wont repeat my mistakes in the future and to learn from it so that i can be a better healthcare giver to my dear patients.
-2008 was when i started going into this whole korean phase. i never thought it would come to this but there's no turning back now and i'm having the time of my life(:
learning and loving a new language has been so much fun and i really hope i can get join some classes in 2009 if the time permits. im sorry to those who cant understand my love for this language and for the people, but its my choice. im just sad that you cant accept me for who i am.
-it was the year i learnt the ropes of the game CounterStrike and to the people who dragged me along to CS sessions. I LOVE YOU!! hahah i had so much fun la. and still having withdrawal symptoms
-to the new friends i made in 2008, to the old friends and aquaintances who stayed by me
i thank thee and i love thee so much for making my 2 decades in life worth living

tmrw is hari raya haji and the smell of the kambings (sheeps) from where im sitting keeps reminding me of that fact. haha they really ARE one smelly bunch!
i rmbr last few years i was asked to take a picture of them slaughtering the sheeps while my mummy stood in front to pose. my hands were friggin shaking ah. seeing all that blood flow out into the drain while the sheep struggled to get free. hahah and im a nurse! so just imagine.
memories of childhood standing by the fence all excited to see the sheeps pooping and eating away the green leaves by the side of the fence and feeding them some while squealing in delight. now i look out my window and think,.. gosh! what a smelly bunch!! LOL ..not really

its 5:56AM on my desktop clock right now and the ONLY reason im up THIS early on an annual leave week is cuz i hafta go for my BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) recertification. hahahha
basically earn back my CPR certificate. it expires after 2 years, so we have to sit for the course every 2 years to earn our right to practice CPR.
Anyways this is the earliest i woke up all week!

2nd Dec 2008, i turn 20!
the day started out with meeting my Sayang and Fuzzy at my favourite sushi place, Hei Sushi at Downtown East! We ate til our stomachs were aching to burst and i mean literally. Even had trouble walking out after we ate.

so being the girlies tt we were, me and fuzzy had an express manicure! hahaha
and you can tell how not ladylike we were since our manicures cant last like 15 minutes! hahah i had chipped my left thumb and forefinger's nail polish just walking out of Ehub!

initially we planned on watching a 6pm or 7pm movie but there werent any nice ones playing at tt time. most of the nice movies are playing on 18th dec! Twilight, Wild Child, Yes Man and the korean The Good, The Bad & The Weird! gotta book me for movies! we ended up taking a cab to novena square 2 to watch none other than LAST FOR ONE!

Opening act couldnt be any better: A Vacant Affair!
I am so in love with *ahemm* LOL
only primmy knows. gosh that boy can dance! hahah

sad thing was, the crowd wasnt really an AVA crowd. most of them have never seen them live and know nuts abt their songs. it hurts to not see them respond to 'The Departure' and even 'Crestfallen' when any AVA fan would have gone crazy and mosh thru the whole dancefloor. Ahh i so miss Baybeats and that one Sonic Bang gig at Sentosa. I moshed the most at tt Sentosa gig for an AVA performance. Memories memories with my Primmasaurus~~
the worst part was this one ang moh security personnel who stood on the right side (facing) the stage. the FDLSNIUDW guy was friggin sniggering away and giving his friend this 'ah-look-at-this-band!-the-kids-are-not-even-looking-at-them-our-bands-are-so-much-better-' kind of look.

i SWEAR he had that smug look all thruout AVA's set. I felt like swinging my fist right in his face ahhh. dude, you havent seen AVA when their fans are around. We'll mosh ur effing face off! gahhhh i was so pissed of by that. ~puntarrt!

korean flavour festival 2008 at vivocity sky garden was awesomely AWESOME!~
fuzzy and me had so much fun singing and dancing to girl generation and stuff..
the coffee ice cream was so nice i bought another one after polishing my first one! best part, a guy performed tae yang's prayer and BB's Haru Haru!!
its GREAT listening to ur fave grp's songs on speakers and getting to sing it out loud without caring ;p

tuesday i woke up late and met Hailwa for lunch (nasi pattaya @ FarEast) and White Choc Mocha (me) & Choc Cream Chip (her) at Starbucks after. i came a bit late so it was my fault that i didnt manage to watch more of her SuperJunior Super Show DVD. Heh imagine us girls huddled in the warm cozy corner, with a laptop on our laps; sipping our cool drinks while squealing at our idol's antics!
I told her straight tt i felt sad cuz i felt like i was moving away from SuJu after i found a new love (BB). But that was what i honestly felt. And to think i hated that one time when she chose Yunho over Junsu, when was the first person she liked in DBSK (i have always found Yunho to be a bit stuck up).
Sad thing is these 2 girls (her & sayang) are so headstrong that they refuse to accept Big Bang into their hearts when i cld accept their loves (Shinee & Kim Jong Kook).

it came across to me that i'm mayb just too 'OPEN'. too open to possibilities and new things. a friend once said that i could love just about anything- anything would be okay for me to like /accept. well just ask my friends! i'm always up for a movie, a CS session or a just a quick dinner date- provided i'm off of work. that is actually a good thing right?
and its dead obvious that i've fallen head over heels in love with this current obsession.
hangul aka korean. i've fallen into its trap and its so hard to get over it! i've never been in love with a language before ;)

eighteenth Nov was Sayang's 20th birthday. I made her a bdae card with korean writing's in front saying ' Seng-il Chukaeyo! & a mini t shirt of cookie monster inside (since tt was the first Sesame Street character she got from us and also a pun from her kor idol- Kim Jong Kook aka Kookie)
gahh you know the feeling you get when you try to go shopping for a gift and you just cant come up with one that's worth giving to the person? well to me it feels more special to spend the time to make a card which is more personalised. and those materials dont come cheap too. i always spend like $70 plus one shot everytime i visit the shop.

we decided to try our luck at Alps Cafe (directly opp Paradiz Center). A new cafe recommended by her cousin. Bad thing was the food was a tad too expensive. The place had more variety of booze so i was practically more of a bar than a restaurant. But my seafood linguine marinara was SUPERB! and i was so happy that our korean oni(s), Su A and her Korean friend (Christine) was able to make it. The place had a karaoke machine so it was great that my karaoke junkie sayang was able to sing a few songs that night. christine oni was veh outgoing and even sang 2 kor songs for us. In the middle of the first song she wished sayang a Happy Bdae and even exclaimed, 'I love Singapore!!' to which we all burst out laughing. the 2nd song she sang was a surprise. it was KJK's Sarangsurowo (Lovely)! hahah! It was fun trying to sing along and watching the MV with Kookie dancing his funny dance while trying to look all cute in his manly way.

one thing i learnt from our meet up was that koreans are always so gracious! i wrote before in a blogpost abt Su A oni giving her cup of apple juice that we poured for her to me just because i didnt have one. well when their pizza came, without a word they just placed a slice on our plates and asked us to eat. so when our dishes came, we placed it in the center of the table and invited them to share. i guess its like a korean tradition to share food at restaurants and not have a plate all by yourself. maybe i guess that's why korean dishes are like rice mixed with their special sauce and meat and vegetable all in one bowl for everyone to eat. that and the yummy yummy side dishes(:
tho i secretly felt like cleaning my ohsoyummy plate of seafood marinara by myself (hahah selfish much?). anyways the girls are so cute in their own ways! when i offered christine my food, she took a bite and like drew a sharp breath in. i was momentarily shocked as i had not taste my food yet. since i was being gracious i asked her to try the food first. when her reaction was like that, i thot it was bcuz there was something wrong with the food. but she smiled wide and said 'Ahh! Bashi'da!' with her eyes wide in genuine awe. tt means 'Ahh! Delicious!' Su A oni tried it too and it got the very same reaction. i sldnt help but smile seeing them act so alike (:

its heart breaking tho to think back that Su A oni only has like 5 months or lesser before she has to leave sunny SG and go back home. Christine has to go back only 6 mths aft Su A leaves. I really wish we cld plan a really great day out with them before they leave. Sayang, we have to work hard for it yea?

finance has been a bit tight lately but i've been spending it so freely and i hate tt.
firstly for my imported CDs and other stuff, then for my scrapbooking materials and for that occasional concert tickets. dad confronted me one day abt my money situation and made me open my eyes. mostly he talked abt saving up the money for studies. i'd love continue studying! overseas or local i wouldnt mind actually. so from now on i'll have to work extra hard to make my money stay in the bank;

but sometimes- it feels impossible.

Happy Ch'usok!

On Saturday, after work in the morning,
we went over to the Senior Police Officers Mess at some ulu place.
Sayang had a one night chalet that her family rented to celebrate the Autumn Harvest Festival. And she invited some of us GC seniors over. We also wanted to celebrate Zuyi's bdae.
So there was me, her, Kenneth, Zuyi, Jian Hui and Kelvin.
Ooo the food was nice and i ate till i was stuffed (espesh the corn cob and prawns).
Julian came over late at around 12 plus from town (went to watch some Arsenal soccer match with friends).
But the best part was that we invited Su A oni over!
She refused Sayang's offer via sms. But earlier that day we came over to her workplace and tried to make her change her mind..
After much persuasion and repeating the words, "Must come! Must come!" and "Ok?! Ok?!" countless times, coupled with the nodding of heads- she finally gave in.

We fetched her from Novena Square and went straight to the karaoke place in the SPOM chalet. Not much selection of songs but i was really feeling the 'My Heart Will Go On' and 'This Love' by Maroon 5. HAHA
And i'm proud to say that my Sayang can sing really well! Espesh mandarin songs. Tho when she gets bored with the song she will sing in high pitch and low pitch for fun. Then we'll have to press the Skip! button ;P

Anyways, the time spent with oni was nice. We learnt more Korean words and we got to know more abt her. She's really (hmm i dunno how to say this..) gracious? Polite? Like when i ask her if she wants to get the fried rice she can just scoop some for herself. And she was like asking if i wanted some too.. (I was still full then.) And like almost everything she ate she asked if i wanted some too. (except the 'tweji' = pork) HEHE :D

Once we poured this cup of apple juice and put in some ice chunks for her and
she was like, 'Su! You dont have a drink. Take this.. I'll go get another..'
I was like 'Eh? No no its for you!'
But she was up and halfway across the room getting to the ice box by then.
Heh.
That's graciousness for you.
Wow i wonder if all Koreans are like that.

Anyways did you know that the Koreans celebrate Autumn Festival on the same day as the Chinese do? Its called Ch'usok. And they make rice cakes instead of mooncakes.
Having tried the rice cakes that she bought for us, i still prefer our version with the snow skin and egg yolk. YUMMY~

Really hope we can spend more time together before oni has to leave. In around 5 months time..
GAHH. And she really wants to go to Sentosa~

the hotpot rice in which we have to mix everything altogether.

its $3.50 for this whole lot
-fresh coleslaw
-cold tofu in yummy soya sauce
-spicy ikan bilis
-spicy thinly sliced cucumber
-last but no least, KIMCHEE!

its actually preserved cabbage but it has this unique sour taste that i like. Both Sayang and Fuzzy didnt really like it.. So, all the more for me!
Hehe and Fuzzy was really excited to try all these Korean food (:

-spicy kimchee soup with brown rice
the brown rice is veh yummy with the beans and different 'textures?' of the rice

the best part of all is the BINGSU!!!

-its kind of like a smoothie tho it looks like ice cream
the taste is really unique. cant be described. a bit like vanilla but not exactly vanilla~
with delicious fresh fruits at the side
A MUST TRY!

and and it seems that a new Bingsu shop is going to open right beside the shop. Cant wait to give that a try~

- deserts are like too painful to eat.
Firstly cuz they look too cute to even slice it with a spoon.

And they werent lying when they said they were delicious ;p

and they also had a chocolate fondue fountain but i didnt take photos of it.
All in all, a wonderful and lavish dining experience!

Work has been.. well.. pretty much the same. Trying my very best to cope with the workload. Trying to finish on time.. And it is kinda exhausting to work while fasting. Ramadhan faster go! I wanna go raya with my friends! Hee.

I'm doing quite well. I looked back and realised i'm really kind of living a spoilt kid's life (READ: a GDlife) . I have a good job though it is stressful at times (but which job isnt?) and i'm surrounded with good colleagues who i can joke around with.
Then my brother bought 2 new games from Comex 2008 for the XBOX 360- Crash Bandicoot & EnChantment equals late nights on non-working nights!
I have my trusty 16GB mp4 to entertain me when i'm on the go filled with BB clips and other fav bands.
I'm surrounded by good friends whom i can just call up and meet up when i'm craving for something (sushi! bingsu!) or when i just miss their sillyness (Sayang!).
And i might be going to Sunway Lagoon for my Dec annual leave!
Hasnt been planned yet but i hope it does happen~

OMG! It's been godknows-how long since ive blogged. Having missed so much news online. Not being able to listen to the new songs from Big Bang and stuff!
GAHH pure torture i tell you!!
Well its mostly because my computer is on the fritz. Internet connection is screwed up and comp needs to reformatted! Gone! Erased!
Soo.. having loads of stash of pics and songs and lotsa nonsense in my folders, me and my brothers decided to wait till the end of August for the Electronics Fair to buy an external drive so my stuff and their stuff will all be saved~

So right now i'm on Primmy's computer, typing.. or trying to type on her faded-letters keyboard. Frustrating much? HEHE but still veh grateful to finally connect with the worldwideweb (:
yeh yeh and we'd be hosting a gig next Sat at Music Garage at Bugis!
nervous nehh~ but excited at the same time cuz its been aeons since ive been to a gig!

the graveyard shift

morning dear readers!
its 01:41 AM and i'm logged on to SGH computer.
3rd night shift. One more night to go.
GAHH am seriously getting bored out of my skull.
Sleepy as hell. Hungry too.. but tt's whay u get for being on night shift.
First night was hell with patients all acting up and cuz many were going for colonoscopes and OGDs and different procedures that they were given PEG and fleet enemas to help them empty their bowels. So it was practically one callbell after another. GAHH! All of us were damn shag by the 5AM.

2nd night i was already tired when i came to the ward cuz i met Sayang before work. We had made friends with a Korean waitress from Seoul Yummy at Novena. She's real helpful and we're hoping to get her to teach us more Korean words and how to write and stuff. And she keeps giggling at us when me and Sayang are being our cheeky self~ So cute!

3rd night.
there's 4 empty beds in my b2 station now. Really hope we dun get any calls from the BMU (Bed Management Unit) for new admissions! We always dread when the station's phone rings.. hehe
And its a really cold night too!
But i have my yummy marshmallows to keep me awake (:

wishing singapore a happy happy 43rd birthday!!

today i worked the morning shift and was junior under Shiau Lee.
Working under her is always great cuz she helps out and refuses to force me to do stuff even though she has the right to ask me to.
Junior is the one who helps out the Staff Nurse In-Charge for the room.
Being the jr for the day is less stressful as u do not have to really do much changes and contact the doctors and stuff.

today one of my patients got really ill.

Her oxygen saturation in her blood (SPO2) was just 88% on 2L of O2, which is really really bad. By right a normal person shld have around 96-100% of oxygen in the blood (mine is usually 98%- never been higher). Then she was put on 100% oxygen on Face Mask.
But tt was not it.
She was scheduled to go for hemodialysis to clean her blood but hadto have a temporary vascular catheter inserted in her jugular vein.
And i assisted the doctor for tt procedure! Hehe it wasnt that difficult considering the Renal Registrar was a nice man.
Hehe so i learnt something new today (:

Anyone else need a nurse to assist the renal dr in inserting a perm catheter can just ask me!

The rest of ND was spent with my beloved Sayang and Botak Oppa.
No mood to be around large crowds bustling for the bus or taxi.
So i'm sleeping over at her house at Woodlands (:
haha and her big brother is cute nehhh~

So basically we just went out to chill. Eat dinner, had dessert and a talk over coffee.
Botak has to book in tmrw at 6.30AM somemore. Really hope he gets enough rest and gets over tt terrible cough. He says over there everyone coughs badly like that cuz of the Tekong water.
Like OMG.
He's coughing like its the end of the world la sehh; even worse than my patients!

can be such a pain in the ass.

imagine being just 2 months and 2 weeks into a new workplace.
still adjusting to the full responsibility of a staff nurse.
then auditors coming to the institution and questioning you on anything regarding the hospital's many policies or procedures.
it isnt fair to put us new staff into such stressful situations.

monday, 14th july
the very first day of their 5 day of auditing
here's how it works.
there's this group of 5 auditors (angmohs mostly) who go round the whole of SGH in search of anything to mark the hospital down
they pick up any random patient's casenotes and follow tt patient's details all the way from A&E to admission to transfer to discharge while on the way questioning any poor random nurses along the way.
Any wrong answer might cause a failure for the whole institution.
yes. THAT much of a pressure

Morning shift today was the worst ever.
Usually we sponge all the bedridden patients and bring the mobile patients to bathe in the morning shift. But due to JCI, all the bedridden patients are bathed in the night shift, and the rest are left for the AM staff to bathe.
Even thought the work was supposedly lessened, everyone was treading on a thin wire.
The feeling is like UGH. Rushing to do everthing and hoping to get stuff done before the auditors come so tt they cannot pick on any minor details.
Everything we did had to be done properly, every thing to be kept in its right place. Breakfast served at 8AM sharp. I/V meds to be served before 9AM. Patients asking why they are bathed so early in the morning. And everyone panicking when rumours float that the auditors are just in the ward upstairs and might come down at any given moment.

Many things went wrong that day.
-I/V medication (ward stock) was finished and had to be restocked- thus wasting lots of precious time and I/V schedules being put on hold.
-One of my long stay patients passed away and we lost lots of time waiting for the family to bring the patient's own clothes to the hospital (as we had to clean her up and send to the mortuary).
-No one even had the time to go for a break.

I left the ward only at 5.30pm, with a stomach full of air, growling.
A head light with fatigue and hunger.
On the verge of breaking down.
Thruout the day, there were many times when i had little scenarios playing in my head like what would happen if i suddenly fainted in the ward?

But the great thing is that i no longer have to face that kinda nervewrecking 'am-i-gonna-be-the-one-being-audited-today?'
why you ask?
cuz im working night shift till the end of JCI!
thank goodness.
I dont mind sponging patients in the early morning
just dont put me thru tt JCI anxiety rush~

moreover like i said everyone is on a short leash.
sharp tones are used. everyone's being more strict on each other.
gosh
i wish all the best for all the staff working in the morning and aftnn shift.
may we pass this JCI with flying colours.

5th july is my beloved mum's 55th birthday.
Me and my siblings treated her to a dinner out at Secret Recipe.
IMM was wayy packed with people on a Saturday, what a bummer.

though their meals are seriously not worth it

after polishing off our plates, me and my lil brother (Kelana aka Katana) excused ourselves and headed to the mall's toilets to relieve ourselves. (the place was friggin cold too!)
we headed off on a short look see around the mall and saw this small florist selling those cute 'get well soon' balloons you see in hospital florists.
we decided to prank my mum and bought this super adorable red winne the pooh balloon for her. we were laughing all the way back to SR.
and to think she didnt mind carrying it all around the place!

we passed by those 50cents kiddy rides and guess what?

times like this i wish i had an LJ so i can get my posts password activated.
but well here's where i speak my mind and you choose whether to care or not

yeaterday i came home at 1220am with a head heavy with fatigue, anger and betrayal; dried up tears on cheeks
why you ask? what happened to this happy-go-lucky always smiling girl?
something happened earlier on after a fun day out with girlfriends. two of them had to leave early. So then there were 3. one was a good girlfriend whom i've known for quite a while and another was a new acquaintance whom i've just met once a few weeks back. ouh and he's gay btw just so you know.
anyways we were happily joking around taking pictures with each other while waiting for our 9pm movie to start. so when they chilled outside (of E Hub Downtown) to smoke, we came across this super cute korean-artist looking guy who worked at NUM on level 2.

you know those times when you tell your friend tt some guy is cute and your friend chides you and try to pull you closer to get a look? Or just to maybe say hi or just get a smile back?

Yes.

From what i know, when a person bluntly refuses or firmly stands his grounds it means a definite NO doesn't it? Do you think i am going to change my fking mind if you fking chase me around the mall and catch me and fking drag me across the floor in front of so many people? Do you SERIOUSLY think so?!
Do you fking have the heart to see how NOT FUNNY it is? Do you not have a heart to see how fking embarrassing it is when there is so many people looking on to see someone being dragged across the floor screaming for you to stop?
*F! And to think i shouted back at my girlfriend to make him stop. With pleading eyes for this torture to end. For help. And to think she just looked back and laughed.

The last i felt this was when another girlfriend humiliated me for an angmoh stranger just to cover her image. Then i totally changed my tone. I've had enuf of this fking treatment. With trembling hands i pushed the elevator button open. And he was still making light of what happened. Laugh somemore ah laugh! Funny right? KNN.
Once we reached the 4th floor, i rushed straight to the ladies.. and cried.
I might have been a bit sensitive of what happened but i do not deserve this. Nobody deserves humiliation to this extent. And from a stranger no less. I don't care how much shit you've been through this past 3 years, 30 minutes, 10 seconds whatever. That was out of hand.

my mum's birthday is on 5th july
then was online, searching for swensen outlets and other good restaurants to bring her to
then i tried searching Ben & Jerry's

at their site under 'Fun and Games' they have this MYSTIC MOO predictor whom will answer any random question;
so i had a go..
and this was what she came up with after a number of animated swirling of her ice cream coated glass ball~

ME: How many legs do two cows have?

(okay so she might have been a bit hard of hearing..)

then i wanted to test her mathematical skills..

hey there dear readers
its been oh-so-long since i last blogged and i am so sorry for leaving you guys without an update these last few days/weeks.
anyways
work is taking a lot of my time
but i'm not complaining tt much
only on some times when the work load is like so effing heavy
and we don't have time to go for even a break to drink water
.. heh then we'll have to steal two or three biscuits from the pantry just to tame the tiger in our tummy

difficult patients are such an energy-drainer i tell you
currently i'm having 2 patients tt are such a pain in the ass
one is kinda confused and irrational and keeps pressing the call bell
this morning i think she pressed the call bell like more than 50 times la sehh
then when i tried to cover the call bell (by the bed) with a pillow,
she pushed it away and started banging the cot sides

another patient kept requesting for small stuff
like really minor things
like washing the cup for her when she can walk like 5 metres to the sink
like disturbing the nurses in night shift and asking then to make hot milo for her at like one in the morning
complaining of pain when she refuses to take medication etc
even the doctors were like trying to discharge her asap
and even then she said she doesnt wanna go home cuz she's not well yet.

..
imagine working at McDonalds
and a customer tells you tt she only eats soggy fries
like wtf are you supposed to do?
amd being the one serving the customers,
it is only our job to do whatever we can.
GRRR.

with all the changes to do for my 6 patients,
combined with this two annoying human beans to layan
i ended up leaving the ward like only one and a half hours later~
T.T

at least their relatives arent tt bad..
shheesh!

i have no idea what 'manwon' stands for but i'll explain about the next video im gonna post.
Its this other Korean group called 'Big Bang'.
They have different artistes going up to them to do small tasks for them for entertainment purposes. I haven't really gotten to the real explanation to how the game/ points goes but this particular 'manwon happiness' is hilarious!

Gummy, a popular female Korean singer is the one who has to approach the group to get points. There are many Korean terms used in this ep. So here is a translation!

dongseng- juniors
manwon haengbok- manwon happiness
nuna/ noona- older sister
yaja time - i guess role reversal time

and as Daesung and Seungri are the youngest members, they get excited cuz it'll be their time to get all the attention (:

oppa- older brother
hyung- older brother
maknae- junior
trot- is a song genre. kinda means singing oldies, thus the opera like singing

*Daesung is usually the one singing Trot in the band.

head is currently heavy with sleep
today i was on AM shift
supposedly ends at 330 PM
but in the end i left the ward at 5PM
like, RAWR.
so many stuff happening at the same time!

and can you imagine the 3 I/V plugs had to be re-sited today?
one was cuz it got dislodged after bathing.
the other two was cuz the hand was swollen.
like we dun have enuf work to do ahh

and and
best thing was i was in charge of 6 patients today
when i was in charge for like only two days before this- 3 patients each day
superb-ly busy day i tell you
but this what i call one of those days
happens alot on morning shifts
but then again
this is what makes nursing challenging
and why i love doing what i'm doing

so don't look down on us nurses
just because you think its a dirty job
hands on is a better word to use
i hate all this misconceptions and public views

the weather sure has been going out of hand lately.
last week it was scorching hot
then this week it has been raining for like 4 days..
it's not that i'm complaining cuz its cold
i mean i prefer it rather than sweating like a pig on a pit

its just that this change of weather means my rashes are coming out like more often
its friggin frustrating
(i need my anti-godzilla meds!)
the itchiness is really too much
the worst is when its on the head and the sole of the feet
so if a mosquito ever wants to bite you
tell them to bite you elsewhere~

i've been suffering so much cuz i'm really really short of medication
am currently on this anti-histamine, Cetirizine
now down to the last tablet
wasnt able to go to the polyclinic cuz of work [8-4pm]
but good news (no, GREAT news!!) is tt im on PM shift on Monday
so a trip to the polyclinic to get my survival medication!!
woohoo~

So at lunch time, in our NYP fast food canteen where our McD outlet is located, the whole class sitting in one of those longer/larger tables; stood up and ate their BigMac and Chicken McSpicy. Just to prove a point to their fellow coursemates.. And probably to bask in all the attention ppl were giving them~

work has been going on just great.
am so glad to get back to the same ward i was in for prcp.
the same old friendly staff
treating sick people
basically i just love my job!

for now i say this cuz i havent really started work as a staff nurse
am still kinda in my induction programme
so i dont think we'll be in charge for a while
and next week we're gonna learn how to poke needles in people!
no la its called venepuncture and cannulation
yeeeehaaa!~

am kinda nervous.
but tt's the challenge in this line of work
bring it on baby!

lately i've been watching loads of korean movies and starting to watch some dramas.
but dramas really need a whole lot of patience.
I've finished Princess Hours which is really awesome. The actors and actresses are gorgeous and they all have this chemistry tt's hard to describe. Near the end, when all the bad things started to happen, i could really feel my heart beat pulse like crazy. I even ended up wondering why it was so. Why i got all so caught up in all this business..

Since a long time ago i've liked watching korean/ japanese movies. The more tear-jerking the better. Or a comedy like the one Rain acted in (I'm A Cyborg But I'm Okay). But i never really paid attention to it.
Then there was this Korean madness starting in teenage girls. I think it started like middle of last year? I didnt think i would get affected.
But hanging out with Korean-crazy friends can do wonders i tell you.

When surfing Youtube, i kinda always end up searching for new MVs by TVXQ or my favourite Super Junior! Heh.. these guys always make me smile. Like really! Whenever i feel down and need a perk-me-up, i'll listen to their songs or watch their shows online.
And lately,
I've started adding more and more Korean songs into my mp3 (tho it already is so goddamn full. no more space la seh.. GAHH! buy me a 16 GB mp3 and i'll love you FOREVER! ;p) and deleting more English songs in the process. And nowadays i tend to scroll to listen to those songs more than the normal bunch of Eng songs.
Its like i dont get the same high listening to Eng songs than when i'm listening to Kor or Jap.
I used to not understand these people..

but now i guess i might be turning into one of them.
but not tt hardcore la.
